Birmingham Royal Ballet today announces its programme plans from May 2022 - March 2023. In a big year for the city, the season includes several highlights in Birmingham during the year that it hosts the Commonwealth Games, as well as touring the UK and bringing the new production of Don Quixote to London.

Today, the Royal Opera House has announced that Resident Choreographer Wayne McGregor's celebrated new work The Dante Project will be available to stream from 20 December. The production will follow The Royal Ballet's Giselle, on-demand from 3 December, and adds to a host of other ROH content across BBC channels too.

The Royal Opera House's international Cinema Season will open on Thursday 9 December 2021 with Peter Wright's spectacular production of The Nutcracker. A festive favourite for the whole family, the production will be relayed live from 7:15 pm to over 700 cinemas in 12 countries around the world.
