The Sheldon is pleased to announce the release of 'Live It Up in New St. Lou,' a five-minute video celebrating St. Louis' great arts and cultural attractions, set to an original song by Sheldon executive director Paul Reuter. The video, underwritten by Mary Strauss and shot and directed by Bob Miano, is available to view at www.TheSheldon.org.

New York City Center's seventh annual Fall for Dance Festival, running September 28 - October 9, will showcase 20 national and international companies and choreographers. With ticket prices remaining at $10 for all seats, a night of dance is more affordable than a night at the movies. The festival will include world and U.S. premieres, and will feature several companies making their first U.S. appearances.

Peter Martin returns to The Sheldon (Saturday, September 11, 2010) with acclaimed bassist Christian McBride. Raised in St. Louis, and with strong roots in the New Orleans jazz scene, Peter Martin is an accomplished pianist, producer, arranger and composer. Having traveled the world and played with today's finest jazz musicians, from Chris Botti to Wynton Marsalis, Peter Martin Music Live showcases jazz masters past and present in an intimate and casual setting.

Brazilian guitarist Romero Lubambo is a force on the Latin jazz scene. Born in Rio de Janeiro and now based in New York, the virtuoso musician has established himself as an acclaimed performer and composer, collaborating with artists such as Michael Brecker, Wynton Marsalis, Paquito D'Rivera, and Kenny Barron, among many others, and leading his own, groundbreaking ensemble, Trio da Paz.
