Dame Judi Dench has taken up a new hobby while in quarantine - TikTok!

Filmed live at the Orange Tree Theatre in 2017, an exclusive 90-minute in conversation with Dame Judi Dench will be available online from 3pm on Sunday 26 April. This is a paid video on demand and all monies raised will go to the Orange Tree Theatre's Survival Fund, following its closure due to the impact of the Coronavirus.

Shakespeare's Globe has announced full casting for Romeo & Juliet, directed by Ola Ince, designed by Jacob Hughes, which will open the 2020 Summer Season on Tuesday 14 April.

Robert Glenister is currently treading the boards at the Playhouse Theatre in Anya Reiss's adaptation of Chekhov's The Seagull. Starring alongside Game of Thrones's Emilia Clarke and Indira Varma, The Seagull marks Glenister's second production with director Jamie Lloyd. The genre defining thriller - based on Frederick Knott's stage and screen play, made world famous by Hitchcock's iconic 1954 film - will be directed by Anthony Banks.

This year begins with the UK première of Kate Attwell's Testmatch, a co-production with Theatre Royal Bath exploring power, history, colonialism, gender and sexuality a?" all through the lens of women's cricket. The creative team, today announced, includes Nicole Charles (Director), Camilla Clarke (Design), Jess Bernberg (Lighting Design), Max Pappenheim (Sound Design), Chris Whittaker (Movement Director), Amy Ball (Casting Director) and Aysha Kala (Assistant Director). Charles directs Komal Amin, Subika Anwar-Khan, Bessie Carter, Sally Messham, Lotte Rice and Tripti Tripuraneni.

Samantha Womack takes over the role of Margot from Sally Bretton from the 14th April, in Milton Keynes where she tours with the company to Birmingham, Cardiff, Leicester, Sheffield, Liverpool, Mold, Brighton, Shrewsbury and Salford. Her run concludes in Northampton on June 27th.

Theatre for a New Audience (TFANA; Jeffrey Horowitz, Founding Artistic Director) will host a celebration of Andrew Weems (1961-2019). The celebration will take place at Polonsky Shakespeare Center (262 Ashland Place, Brooklyn), TFANA's home, on Monday, February 17 at 7pm.

Samantha Womack and Cameron Blakely will revive their roles as Morticia and Gomez Addams in the new UK & Ireland Tour of THE ADDAMS FAMILY, a musical comedy, with book by Marshall Brickman and Rick Elice, the creators of multi award-winning Jersey Boys, and music and lyrics by Andrew Lippa, based on the characters created by Charles Addams.
