'The Life and Times of A. Einstein' is a funny, offbeat comedy about a day in the life of the famous scientist, as seen through the eyes of his secretary, Ellen. As his secretary, chauffeur and bodyguard (she shoots, too!), Ellen shields him from the press, keeps him on time for appointments, runs his household, and tries unsuccessfully to hide her passion and feelings for him.

The show is written by Karen Bankhead with additional material by Pam Trotter and performed by Karen Bankhead. It features musical performance by singer Pam Trotter, and is directed by Karen Bankhead. It is produced by Free Spirit Productions. The production will play one performance at Theatre West, 3333 Cahuenga Blvd. West, in Los Angeles, CA 90068 on Sunday, June 19, 2022 at 3:00 p.m. Tickets are $35 in advance, $40 at the door. Maybin Hewes has a show business career that spans eight decades. She started out as a child performer in Mississippi, appeared on TV in New Orleans as a teenager, and went on to a lengthy and active career as a dancer and singer in many shows on Broadway, off Broadway, at the Paper Mill Playhouse, on national tours and in regional theatre.

On Veterans’ Day - November 11 - at 7pm, New Musicals Inc is hosting a special online concert to help celebrate the day and pay respect to veterans around the world. Boston Court Pasadena presents Alexander Miller: TOa??OBLIVION a?" Historic Landmarks Around Los Angeles on Friday, October 25 at 8pm.  This multi-media project, conceived and performed by Miller, uses electric guitar, sound effects and visuals to describe six seminal landmarks in the Los Angeles area that have been either indelibly altered or destroyed. This will be the first time his album, TOa??OBLIVION is performed live in a concert setting, in its entirety.

Boston Court Pasadena continues their 2019 Music Season with the Fall Music Series featuring offerings curated by Artistic Director Mark Saltzman. Achingly human, and surprisingly funny! TheFountain Theatre presents the West Coast premiere ofCost of Living, the 2018 Pulitzer Prize-winning play by Martyna Majok. John Vreeke directs for an Oct. 20 opening, with performances continuing through Dec.16.

The Santa Barbara Center for the Performing Arts (SBCPA) is pleased to announce the return of The Elmer Bernstein Memorial Film Series for its third season.  This year's series will launch with a screening of the comedy classic, Animal House, on Monday, August 29, 2016 at 7pm.

Rita Moreno (West Side Story) is set for a Q&A today, November 3 to talk about her role in the 1961 film adaptation of Tennessee Williams' SUMMER AND SMOKE. The discussion will take place at the BFI Southbank and is being held in honor of the film's director Peter Glenville.
