No one was detained or questioned last night for a bad performance at the Gerald W.Lynch Theater as Tony Danza lead the Police Athletic League's (PAL) 3rd Annual one-night-only showcase performance, 'Tony Danza & the Stars of Tomorrow,' It benefits PAL”S Teen Acting Program. The performance starred Tony with the talented young artists in the PAL program, and also had Tony doing some fantastic soft shoe with famed member of the Manhattan Rhythm Kings Hal Shane. Tony's friend singer/songwriter/pianist Peter Cincotti also took the stage and sang an original composition.

The McCallum Theatre presents Peter Cincotti on Saturday, December 1, at 8:00pm as part of the Fitz's Jazz Cafe at the McCallum series. Born in New York City, Peter Cincotti started tinkling the keys of a toy piano when he was three years old. A year later, he started taking lessons, but his mother asked the teacher to let him play whatever he wanted and to not force classical technique. By the age of nine, he was composing and, in his mid-teens, took up singing. Peter soon became a quadruple threat - pianist, singer, composer and arranger. He spent much of his childhood going to school during the day and playing clubs at night. Legendary music producer Phil Ramone was there one of those nights, a discovery that led Ramone to produce Peter's debut album which reached #1 on the Billboardjazz charts, making 18-year old Cincotti the youngest artist ever to do so.

Berman, on piano, will feature his original songs as well as his jazz arrangements of pop tunes, standards and new works, and will be joined by David Richards (Hamilton) on bass and Joe Nero (Peter Cincotti) on drums. A special guest for the evening is Darryl Tookes, an accomplished musician and collaborator of such megastars as Michael Jackson, Sting, Paul Simon, and many others.

Audiences have started to listen again at Studio 54. That's because Children of a Lesser God is back, and it officially opened last night on Broadway. Directed by Tony Award winner Kenny Leon, Children of a Lesser God stars film and television favorite Joshua Jackson and breakout star Lauren Ridloff, alongside Emmy Award winner and Golden Globe Award winner Anthony Edwards, Drama Desk Award nominee and Obie Award winner Kecia Lewis, Julee Cerda, Treshelle Edmond, and John McGinty. On Today, September 23rd, Westchester Collaborative Theater (WCT) continues its Jazz Masters music series with the Alexis Cole Trio featuring one of Ossining's own, internationally renowned jazz vocalist Cole, appearing for two sets at 7:30 and 9 pm.

Singer, songwriter and pianist, Peter Cincotti will be releasing his fifth studio album, Long Way From Home, on Friday, October 13. That evening, he will be in Memphis performing at the Halloran Centre at the Orpheum at 7:30pm. Tickets are on sale now.
