Jazz Piano Star Mark Berman Band Headlines Club Bonafide

Mark Berman, renowned pianist and composer, presents his power jazz trio at starry jazz club Club Bonafide, 212 East 52nd Street, Friday April 6 at 8 pm. Berman, on piano, will feature his original songs as well as his jazz arrangements of pop tunes, standards and new works. The audience will experience one of the best and most in-demand pianists working in NYC today, playing a gorgeous 1935 Mason & Hamlin grand piano at jazz hot-spot Club Bonafide, an intimate club made famous by iconic bassist Richard Bona, on legendary jazz row, 52nd Street. Mark Berman is a world-renowned pianist, composer and music producer who has collaborated with the proverbial who's who of jazz, pop and rock: Aretha Franklin, Carole King, Phoebe Snow, Leslie Gore, Gladys Knight, Wycliff Gordon, Hugh Jackman, Burt Bacharach, Chita Rivera and many others. He has performed at Carnegie Hall, Radio City, the Blue Note, Birdland, the Rainbow Room, and Merkin Hall among other notable New York venues as well as internationally. Mark is also a powerful presence on Broadway, where he's conducted and played lead piano in Rent, Smokey Joe's Cafe, Bullets Over Broadway, The Boy from Oz, Hairspray, 42nd Street, Radio City, Aida, The Color Purple, Jesus Christ Superstar, Hair and Spider-Man.
