GREASE at Pioneer Theatre Company is a nostalgic, feel-good snapshot of the 1950s.

Pioneer Theatre Company presents a rollicking evening of nostalgic fun with the classic '50s musical Grease, running Friday, May 10 - May 25, 2019, to close its 2018-2019 season. 

Multiple award-winning film and theatre lyricist Tim Rice, in conjunction with the Finger Lakes Musical Theatre Festival, will present an industry-only NYC development workshop of his new musical, From Here To Eternity.

On June 5, 2018, the Fulton Theatre launches The Hunchback of Notre Dame, the theatre's season finale and biggest production of the 2017/2018 season.  The Hunchback of Notre Dame will also be one of the largest shows in the theatre's one hundred sixty six year history. Over ninety cast and choir members will take the stage amidst soaring bell towers, a gypsy village, and the bustling streets of fifteenth century Paris. Beneath the stage, a fourteen piece orchestra will bring to life the incredible music of the timeless classic.

Theatre A Go-Go, Inc. in association with Chambersburg Community Theatre has announced the cast for its upcoming production of the Andrew Lloyd Weber and Tim Rice rock opera Jesus Christ Superstar at the historic Capitol Theatre, 159 South Main Street, in downtown Chambersburg, PA. The production is a one-time, special event fundraiser to benefit Totem Pole Playhouse.

The Philadelphia Orchestra, in partnership with The Kimmel Center for the Performing Arts and local community-based cultural organization Taller Puertorrique o working as part of Unidos PA'PR, has announced a fundraising initiative during next week's performances of West Side Story in Concert led by Yannick N zet-S guin in Verizon Hall (October 12-15, 2017) to assist with hurricane relief efforts in Puerto Rico. In light of the devastating impact of Hurricane Maria and the closely linked subject matter of the performance, collections will be accepted in the lobby of The Kimmel Center to be distributed through Unidos PA'PR a coalition of community organizations formed to raise funds for recovery efforts in Puerto Rico. The performances also will serve as a powerful reminder of the ongoing relevancy of Bernstein's work and the continued need for unity, embracing Puerto Rico as a U.S. territory, and awareness of economic conditions in the area.

A Jewish saint battles the Spanish Inquisition over the conquest of Peru in the new musical Occasion for Sin, with script and lyrics by Katherine Brann Fredricks, based on the writings of Teresa of Avila and Garcilaso de la Vega, and music by three-time Grammy-winner, Oriente Lopez. Broadway Unplugged, the critically acclaimed concert with 'Sound Design by God' returned to Town Hall for its record-breaking 14th season last night, July 25. The concert starred Tony Award Winner Chuck Cooper, 2X Tony Nominee Tom Wopat, Olivier Nominee Kyle Scatliffe, 2X Drama Desk Nominee Alix Korey, Drama Desk Nominee Ryan Silverman, downtown diva Molly Pope, and many more award-winning stars.
