Theatre Communications Group has announced the recipients of the second round of the 2021-22 Edgerton Foundation New Play Awards. The awards, totaling $731,000, allow 16 productions extra time for the development and rehearsal of new plays with the entire creative team, hoping to extend the life of the world premiere play after its first run.

American Repertory Theater (A.R.T.) at Harvard University's concert production of WILD: A Musical Becoming began performances at the Loeb Drama Center in Harvard Square in Cambridge, Massachusetts on Sunday, December 5, 2021, and opened officially on Thursday, December 9. The production will run through January 2, 2022.

Yesterday, 18 songwriters capped off a multi-day songwriting camp in Nashville, TN that was conceptualized by powerhouse music executives Katie Vinten (Co-founder of Facet and founder of Black Diamond Management) and Alicia Pruitt (Founder of Madfun Entertainment). Vinten & Pruitt, longstanding friends and colleagues from their time together at Warner Chappell, organized the camp to celebrate community among artists. Across the past three days, they united some of music's biggest songwriters from both Nashville & Los Angeles for collaborative writing sessions at Oceanway Studios. Celebrating A Year Of Raw Emotions With STOLAR

Poly-instrumental Brooklyn-based songwriter and performer STOLAR is celebrating the one year anniversary of his ambitious project Raw Emotions, which found the performer releasing new music once a month for an entire year beginning October of 2017. Each month was tied to a different emotion, with each song providing candid insight into the effects of that particular feeling. Stolar created the projects to redirect his struggles with bipolar disorder and depression into a creative channel. The successful campaign has resulted in over 20 million streams between all of the songs Stolar released over the past year.
