Trustus Theatre puts a new twist on one of America's most iconic plays, Tennessee Williams's A Streetcar Named Desire, when it opens on their Main Stage this February. The Main Stage has been converted into a round orientation, meaning that audiences will discover a more intimate, deeper connection with a play that they may already be familiar with.

Taking the stage for the first time in the new year, The Philadelphia Young Musicians Orchestra (PYMO) will perform at The Temple Performing Arts Center, located at 1837 N. Broad Street in Philadelphia, on Saturday January 18, 2020 at 4 p.m.

Ushering in their first concert of the season, Tune Up Philly (TUP), the community engagement program of Philadelphia Youth Orchestra (PYO), directed by Paul Smith, will take to the stage on Saturday, January 18, 2020 at 1 p.m. at The Temple Performing Arts Center, located at 1837 N. In a special showcase performance, the nationally known Philadelphia Youth Orchestra (PYO) will present on stage all six of their program ensemble divisions, coinciding with the organization's 80th anniversary season.

The image recreates the famous shot of Tarrant arriving to give evidence in the Ingram trial at Southwark Crown Court in March 2003.

The Philadelphia Youth Orchestra will accompany veteran singer Lisa Fischer and her band, Grand Baton, in a spectacular performance in Verizon Hall at The Kimmel Center of Performing Arts on November 1, at 8 p.m. PYO's 130 members, between the ages of 14 and 21, will support Fischer's dynamic range of rock, soul, classical and other influences. Josephine Lee, President & Artistic Director for the Chicago Children's Choir, will be conducting the orchestra.

San Francisco North Bay theater artists gathered Monday night at 3 Disciples Brewing in downtown Santa Rosa for the Fourth Annual Marquee Theater Journalists Association Awards. Eighteen awards were given to local theatre artists and productions whose nominations were culled from the sixty-eight Sonoma County productions attended by members from September 1, 2018 through August 31, 2019.

The San Francisco North Bay's Marquee Theater Journalists Association has released the list of nominees for its 4th Annual MTJA Awards. The Association recognized the exemplary work of Sonoma County theater artists with nominations in eighteen categories that were culled from the sixty-eight productions attended by MTJA members. Recipients will be announced at the 2019 MTJA Awards - A Celebration of Sonoma County Theater which will be held October 14th at 3 Disciples Brewing in downtown Santa Rosa.
