Marin Shakespeare's SPAMALOT is an altogether delightful and uproariously zany production that has their audiences laughing almost non-stop throughout the show. Playing its final week now through August 25, SPAMALOT is a not-to-be-missed, hugely enjoyable show.

MAKER OF WORLDS, an absurdist one-woman play with six characters by Wendy A. Schmidt, will premiere as part of the Dream Up Festival at Theater for the New City on September 2nd with consecutive performances through September 7th. 

Lyn Stanley has had a remarkable career in music. With the late pianist Paul Smith and singer-vocal coach Annette Warren as her mentors, she began her career out of nowhere in 2010. Her debut recording Lost In Romance ranked in the top 100 albums played by American radio stations and, virtually by herself, she has built up a large worldwide following (particularly among audiophiles) and released such popular albums as Potions {from the 50s}, Interludes, The Moonlight Sessions Volumes One and Two, and the Julie London Project, all of which have been big sellers. She was awarded Female Jazz Vocalist of the Year for 2018 by Saul Levine, programmer for KKJZ-FM, Los Angeles' top jazz radio station.

For the adventurous theatre goers looking for nourishment for the body as well as the mind, FeastFest is a new mini-festival of sumptuous delights to whet the appetite. The five shows have been created by international artists from Turkey, France, the UK, China, Taiwan and New Zealand to offer tasty morsels and cultural nutrition with immersive and site-specific performances, and has been curated by London-based international performing arts management agency Performance Infinity. Taking the universal experience as a starting point to celebrate our similarities and differences, the goal of the FeastFest is to celebrate diversity in theatres through food.

Three Cat Productions presents the world premiere of the music revue Diamond Lil & the Pansy Craze at the Chicago Park District's Berger Park Coach House Theater at 6205 N. Sheridan Road (Edgewater by Granville el stop on Red Line).

The 8th Summerhall Festival Programme is announced today by the year round Edinburgh arts venue. The programme is full of exciting, invigorating and fresh theatre, music and visual arts. Whilst the venue grows into its reputation for hosting new, avant-garde and personal work, it also begins to create partnerships with artists. As the end of the 2018-2019 Philadelphia Youth Orchestra (PYO) season approaches, PYO has enhanced the lives of over 120 classical music students, providing music education to highly motivated students who develop a keen sense of discipline as they perfect their musical skill.

Tune Up Philly (TUP) will take the stage for their 9th Annual Festival Concert on Saturday, May 25, 2019 at 1 p.m. TUP is The Philadelphia Youth Orchestra (PYO)'s community engagement program ensemble.
