Hadestown star Reeve Carney has developed a loyal following in the cabaret scene with his solo shows at the Green Room 42. This Monday, May 13th, Carney will be doing two sets back to back at 7 pm and 9:30 pm, covering era-defining selections of Beatles music. We spoke about the upcoming show and the influence the Beatles have had on Carney.

The Blue Strawberry in Midtown St. Louis welcomed John Lloyd Young on Wednesday evening for the first of two Shows.Highlights from his set included a soulful performance of the R & B classic “Show and Tell,” and a haunting introspective rendition of The Hollies song “The Air That I Breathe.” To say that Young’s voice is special is an understatement. His phrasing is impeccable. His vowels are open, pure, and rich. Young’s tenor is lush and resonant with pitch-perfect head and chest voice and a falsetto that soars. His vocal stylings are magnificent.

Multi-platinum, GRAMMY-nominated Icelandic rockers KALEO have announced their North American “Payback Tour,” which will see the group headlining amphitheaters across the continent through the fall. On April 20, 2024, we will see Ringo release his 5th EP, Crooked Boy, as a special limited edition marble vinyl on Record Store Day. He has also shared some of the tour dates for his Ringo & His All Starr Band Fall tour which will see them return to a few of Ringo’s favorite venues including Fallsview Casino in Fallsview, ON where he has launched several tours and to Radio City Music Hall where he has performed 8 times with the All Starrs. Last night, Erwin Bach, Tina Turner's husband, celebrated the 6th Birthday of the West End run of TINA - The Tina Turner Musical at the Aldwych Theatre. Erwin joined the cast onstage for photos after the show. Check out the photos here!

Disney+ has announced that Let It Be, director Michael Lindsay-Hogg’s original 1970 film about The Beatles, will launch exclusively on Disney+ May 8, 2024. This is the first time the film is available in over 50 years. First released in May 1970 amidst the swirl of The Beatles’ breakup, Let It Be now takes its rightful place in the band’s history.
