Get your popcorn buckets ready! The critically acclaimed Dune: Part Two will soon be available to watch at home. On April 16, the film will be released to digital platforms and will include over an hour of bonus features. On May 14, the digital release will be followed up with a Blu-ray, featuring Dolby Atmos audio.

Renowned conductor Mei-Ann Chen takes on a new role as Artistic Advisor for the SSO, marking a significant milestone in her illustrious career. In her new position with the SSO, Maestra Chen will serve as the orchestra's artistic face, curating programs, selecting guest soloists and facilitating other artistic needs.

The cast and crew of the new musical “Star and Cloud” are set to stage the well-received production at the Fo Guang Shan Buddha Museum in Kaohsiung, Taiwan, this weekend, Feb. 24-25, 2024.

The Springfield Symphony Orchestra (SSO) today announced in a joint statement with the union representing musicians of the Springfield Symphony,  Local 171 of the American Federation of musicians, that they have reached a labor agreement with musicians on a two-year collective bargaining agreement.

The musical, titled 'I'll Be There!', is planning to come to Broadway, with producer Paul Lambert working alongside Fakir. It is currently aiming for an early 2022 opening. According to an insider, casting calls were recently held in Los Angeles, and the musical is now in rehearsals.

The UK's leading film critics today announced the nominations for the 39th annual London Critics' Circle Film Awards presented by Dover Street Entertainment. Yorgos Lanthimos' black comedy The Favourite was out front with 10 nominations, including Film, Director, Screenwriter, Actress for Olivia Colman and Supporting Actress for Rachel Weisz. In addition, the film is nominated for British/Irish Film of the Year.

BAFTA has announced the nominations for the EE British Academy Film Awards in 2019.

Back Lot Music will release the original motion-picture soundtrack to Universal Pictures' First Man day and date with the film's theatrical release on October 12. The soundtrack will feature new music from two-time Academy Award winner Justin Hurwitz, as well as a recording of Leon Bridges performing 'Whitey on the Moon,' in character as Gil Scott Heron. As of today, fans who pre-order the soundtrack will get the tracks 'Quarantine' and 'The Landing' immediately.

The British Academy of Film and Television Arts has announced the winners for THE EE BRITISH ACADEMY FILM AWARDS. The BAFTA Awards ceremony was held today, February 18th, at London's Royal Albert Hall. Among the top winners were 'Three Billboards Outside Ebbing, Missouri' and 'The Shape of Water.'

Country music artist and 2018 Grammy nominee, Jack Ingram will join local media personalities for the 2017 Last Relay Team Running, a contest that helps raise money for Texas Scottish Rite Hospital for Children, the lead beneficiary of the 2017 BMW Dallas Marathon, Half Marathon and SMU Cox School of Business Relay, Sunday, December 10. Keeping with the tradition of this contest, the relay team will be the very last to start the race and will aim to pass as many runners as possible as they make their way to the finish line, raising money for each runner they pass.
