Florida-based cabaret performer and driveway concert sensation Meri Ziev returns to Manhattan with her debut club act NEW WORDS.

Amas Musical Theatre will present the fourth year of “Dare To Be Different,” a festival of new musicals and special events, from January 27 – February 18, 2022 at A.R.T./New York Theatres (502 West 53rd Street – 10th Avenue & 53rd Street).

On Saturday, the Tin Pan Alley American Popular Music Project in collaboration with the Flatiron 23rd Street Partnership presented a free, outdoor public concert at the Flatiron North Plaza featuring more than two dozen leading performers of Tin Pan Alley music and the Great American Songbook. 

Barbara Bleier and Austin Pendleton are at it again. But to be honest, even during the pandemic they were never gone. They created a show that Pangea streamed for virtual audiences. Tonight that show LIFE, AND LOVE, AND WHO KNOWS WHAT ELSE?  had its debut in front of a live audience in the back room of Pangea. Bleier explained to us that when they were putting the show together two years ago, they intended to write a show with a political theme. But in these extraordinary times, they have discovered that really everything is political. Everything. And that’s the show they have put together: an evening about the politics of patriotism, the politics of career, the politics of aging, the politics of men and women, the politics of marriage, the politics of family, and the politics of falling in love. It is, in fact, a show about everything.

The team of Barbara Bleier and Austin Pendleton return to Pangea in Life, Love and Who Knows What Else? for three performance, on Wednesdays, October 13/20/27th all at 6:00 PM.

Singer/Actress Barbara Bleier, returns to New York's popular 'Pangea' club haunt in her solo Debut.

The Manhattan Association of Cabarets (MAC) has announced the 2020 MAC Award nominees. The nominees were determined by votes cast by the active MAC membership, except for the four song and recording categories, which were determined by special committees.

At a 'Monday Night at The Lambs,' The Lambs - in conjunction with Harvardwood - held an evening with special guest Anita Gillette. Anita spoke about her long and varied career in theater, film and television, recalling many personal moments along the way. Interviewed by Foster Hirsch, author of 16 books on theater and film and professor at Brooklyn College, Anita shared many of her experiences from her lengthy and impressive career, which includes 14 Broadway shows. Accompanied by pianist Paul Greenwood, Anita performed several songs to the enthusiastic audience. She spoke about the many people she has worked with, including Lambs' members Irving Berlin and Hal Prince.
