Review: THE ROOMMATE at Center Rep

THE ROOMMATE is a melting pot of ideas that lands some laughs, touches on some deeper topics, but never quite finds its identity. Some solid performances and excellent staging help the show move along and make the most of a flawed script. THE ROOMMATE meanders through several possibilities of comedy and drama, yet never clearly arrives as any destination.

WAITING FOR GODOT Set for Corrib Theatre Beginning This Month

Corrib Theatre has announced its first production of the classic play WAITING FOR GODOT by Samuel Beckett, running November 29-Dec 15, 2024. The cast includes Roo Welsh as Vladimir, Karl Hanover as Estragon, Jonathan Cullen as Pozzo, Doren Elias as Lucky, and Max O'Hare as The Boy.

Santa Cruz Shakespeare Announces World Premiere Of THE FORMULA

Santa Cruz Shakespeare today announced it will open its summer season with the exciting World Premiere of The Formula by Kathryn Chetkovich, directed by Ellen Maguire in a co-production with Blissfield, during its summer festival July 10-Aug. 28 in the Audrey Stanley Grove in DeLaveaga Park.

Santa Cruz Shakespeare presents MEASURE FOR MEASURE

Santa Cruz Shakespeare is proud to present Measure for Measure by William Shakespeare. Measure for Measure, produced in partnership with California Shakespeare Theater, is the second play in Santa Cruz Shakespeare's 2017 repertory season with previews July 18 through July 20, and opening on Friday, July 21, 2017, at 8:00 pm. All performances at The Grove at DeLaveaga Park and run through September 2, 2017.
