The Broad today announced the lineup for the third edition of Summer Happenings at The Broad, a music and performance series sponsored by Leading Partner East West Bank. Hailed by the Los Angeles Times as a “wildly eclectic mix of music and art,” the summer event series – one of Los Angeles' most popular and anticipated events – will showcase more than 35 prominent and emerging artists and performers over four events. Tickets, including Series Passes (offers a savings of $25 and tickets to all four Summer Happenings), create-your-own ticket packages (offers a savings of $5 on each event when tickets are purchased for two or more events) and individual tickets ($30 advance), are available now at www.thebroad.org/happenings.

On Friday, August 3, 2018, violinist Josh Modney, Executive Director of the Wet Ink Ensemble and a member of the International Contemporary Ensemble (ICE), releases his debut solo violin album, Engage, on New Focus Records. The three-disc album brings together the varied threads of Modney's recent work, including long-term collaborations with composers Kate Soper, Eric Wubbels, and Sam Pluta, who perform on the album; solo violin music by Taylor Brook and Anthony Braxton; Modney's own improvised music for solo violin; and J.S. Bach's Ciaccona reinterpreted in Just Intonation.

Glynis Henderson Productions and Martian Entertainment have announced that A CLOCKWORK ORANGE will play the final performance of its limited New York Premiere engagement at New World Stages on Saturday, December 2, 2017. Based on Anthony Burgess'1962 literary masterpiece, director Alexandra Spencer-Jones's electrifying stage production began performances in NYC on September 2, 2017, following a sold-out engagement at London's Park Theatre and tours to Australia, Singapore and Norway. At the conclusion of its twelve-week New York run, the play will have had 107 performances at New World Stages (340 West 50th Street).
