Nottingham Playhouse has announced the casting for the world premiere of Samson Hawkins' VILLAGE IDIOT, a co-production with Theatre Royal Stratford East and the pioneering consortium which puts deaf and disabled artists and audiences at the centre  - Ramps on the Moon.

Theatre Royal Stratford East has announced casting for their co-production with Nottingham Playhouse and Ramps on the Moon, the world premiere of Samson Hawkins’ new play VILLAGE IDIOT directed by Stratford East Artistic Director Nadia Fall.  

In all, while SPIRITED has a lot about it that feels familiar, mostly owing to its nods to its heritage; it is just twisted enough to be a new twist on the old fable.

As a follow-up to the LP, “12 Little Killers,” New York musician Max Vanderwolf will release the retro-futuristic single, “3/5ths in the Fire” 2022 via Proper. The song, which was recorded in Camberwell, London with producer Chris Wyles at the helm, has its origins in the raging rock excesses of Vanderwolf’s previous London band, Last Man Standing.
