Georgia Gets By Details New EP and Shares 2 New Singles

Georgia Gets By, the project of New Zealand’s Georgia Nott, will release her new EP, Split Lip, on September 6th. The announcement comes with a dual single release of two instantly memorable tracks “Some Kind of Angel,” which was co-written by Grammy award nominated producer Billboard and the EP’s title track “Split Lip.”

Patsy Cline made it past the cursed musicians’ age of twenty-seven, but not by much. She was killed in a plane crash at the age of thirty, leaving thousands of fans to mourn her memory and music. She is known for inspiring the next generation of women in country music and was the first solo female artist to be inducted into the Country Music Hall of Fame.  It was only a matter of time before her extraordinary journey to fame made it into the book of a jukebox musical, and we are so lucky it did. Always…Patsy Cline is part of the 52nd season of the Lake Tahoe Shakespeare Festival, playing simultaneously with the delightful Shakespearean comedy, The Merry Wives of Windsor.

Interview: ADI TEODORU And AARON ALON of MELVILLE & HAWTHORNE at THUNDERCLAP PRODUCTIONS

The play follows the year and a half that authors Herman Melville and Nathaniel Hawthorne spent living only a mile away from each other in the Berkshires. At the same time, Melville wrote and developed the novel MOBY DICK (which he dedicated to Hawthorne). The show is based on historical facts and will play from August 1st through August 10th.

BWW Q&A: Scott Moreau on MILLION DOLLAR QUARTET CHRISTMAS at The Repertory Theatre St. Louis

Scott Moreau is from Litchfield, ME and holds a BFA in Music Theatre from Illinois Wesleyan University. After a lifelong dream of being a professional baseball player, Scott turned to the stage after seeing a life-changing performance of Les Misérables in London his freshman year of high school. Through his years in high school and college, he found a love for not only musical theatre but choral singing, directing, sound design and stage combat.
