Raise Your Voice: A Cabaret for a Cure, benefiting the Leukemia and Lymphoma Society, will take place at 7:00 pm Sunday, May 7, 2023 at the Peter Norton Symphony Space (2537 Broadway at 95th St).

Prior to this week’s arrival of THE BOOK OF MORMON to Proctors, I spoke with Sam McLellan, who is currently playing the role of Elder Price on tour. His career includes some memorable moments, previously appearing as Dmitry in the national tour of ANASTASIA, and in the touring production of FIDDLER ON THE ROOF. Sam is currently on his third tour.

Tony nominee Beth Malone and Joél Perez, from the original cast of FUN HOME, are hosting Rhinebeck Writers Retreat’s annual fundraiser “Summer Songs at Sardi’s” on December 1 at 6:30pm.  Guests will be treated to cocktails, hors d’oeuvres, silent auction, and a concert in Times Square’s iconic Sardi’s restaurant. 

At This Performance…  will return to The Green Room 42 featuring standbys, understudies, and alternates From Moulin Rouge! The Musical; Almost Famous; Hadestown; Funny Girl; Aladdin; and Paradise Square.  

The American Pops Orchestra (APO) presents the semi-final round of its 6th Annual NextGen National Competition: Finding the Voices of Tomorrow. Out of hundreds of auditions coming from 103 colleges and 34 different states, 30 talented college students were chosen to compete in the semifinals!

Written by Rita Kalnejais and directed by Jack Serio, This Beautiful Future is a story of young love set during World War II. This Beautiful Future will now play Cherry Lane Theatre for six weeks only, through October 30, 2022. From the creators of Sex and the City, UNCOUPLED is a story about heartbreak, healing, and all the humor we find along the way.
