Writer/Performer Victoria Montalbano presents her solo show, The Princess Strikes Back: One Woman's Search for the Space Cowboy of her Dreams at the IndyFringe Theatre Festival.

The Frist Art Museum presents Weaving Splendor: Treasures of Asian Textiles from The Nelson-Atkins Museum of Art, an exhibition of Chinese, Indian, Japanese, Persian, and Turkish textiles drawn from one of the most significant collections of Asian art in the United States. Organized by The Nelson-Atkins Museum of Art in Kansas City, the exhibition will be on view in the Frist's Ingram Gallery from October 7 through December 31, 2022.

As their 34th season comes to an end, Actors' Playhouse at the Miracle Theatre will present the Florida premiere of Sean Grennan's heartfelt romantic comedy, Now and Then. The production will run for a limited time beginning August 24 through September 11 with performances running from Wednesday to Saturday at 8 p.m. and Sunday at 3 p.m.

Raised Buddhist in the Midwest, Kainalu's roots lay in his Japanese-Hawaiian heritage and inform both his writing and sound. Since 2017, the multi-instrumentalist has been blending psychedelic funk, synthy beats, and distorted vocals with vulnerable lyricism to immerse listeners in a kaleidoscopic, expansive daydream.
