Announcing Performances by Vitaly, John Pizzarelli Trio, and Martin Sexton!

On July 14, 2019, the Auditorium Theatre received the League of Historic American Theatres' (LHAT) Outstanding Historic Theatre Award, recognizing the Auditorium for its demonstrated excellence through its programs and services, community impact, and the quality of its restoration and rehabilitation work. Past recipients of the Outstanding Historic Theatre Award include New York's City Center, Ann Arbor's Michigan Theater, and Atlanta's Fox Theatre.

The Tenors, a multi-platinum trio, may have performed for four different presidents of the United States and Queen Elizabeth Diamond Jubilee birthday celebrations at Windsor Castle, but on Monday July 22, they will bring their international acclaim to the SCERA Shell Outdoor Theatre in Orem, Utah.

Cannery Casino Hotel's The Club will celebrate the 50th anniversary of the original Woodstock music festival with Woodstock Weekend in August, featuring performances by John Fogerty and Creedence Clearwater Revival tribute Fortunate Son, Santana tribute Evil Waze, Crosby, Still and Nash tribute CSN Express and Janis Joplin tribute Kelly Sheehan.

Husband-and-wife duo John Pizzarelli and Jessica Molaskey make their annual fall pilgrimage to Cafe Carlyle with an all-new show, November 5-16.

Alt-country singer-songwriter Todd Snider brings his often witty, original roots-rock songs to Club Helsinki Hudson on Wednesday, July 24, at 8pm. Singer-songwriter Molly Thomas will warm up the crowd for Snider.

The Eisemann Center and the City of Richardson announced the 2019-2020 Season of Eisemann Center Presents (ECP) at the Annual Season Preview Party on Thursday, May 9, 2019. The season includes our two full subscription series: Jeffrey Siegel's Keyboard Conversations with a total of four concerts; and the Family Theatre Series with four productions and the accompanying immersive children's program Eisemann Extras. In addition we have 16 diverse productions ranging from superstar Mandy Patinkin to Asleep At The Wheel on their 50th Anniversary Tour and America's Got Talent favorite, deaf singer Mandy Harvey all returning to the Eisemann Center this season.

Jim James has spent the better part of almost two decades as the lead singer, songwriter, and multi-instrumentalist of My Morning Jacket. With an illustrious solo career of his own, James' Uniform Distortion tour will celebrate his 2018 record of the same name and include other career-spanning material.

Two fantastic new shows just announced! Roy Thomson Hall presents an intimate performance with neo-classical pianist, Alexandra Streliski on June 26. For this special evening, Streliski will perform for lucky fans alongside her on stage with the grandeur of the Roy Thomson Hall auditorium as her backdrop. Massey Hall today also announced the Toronto return of "Vocal Powerhouse" (Rolling Stone, June 2018), Tami Neilson on November 18 at Mod Club.

KIRA celebrates humanity as one village, and its sacred bond to Mother Nature in this evocative work of dance, live percussion and chants by renowned Guinean artist Fara Tolno. Produced and commissioned by Lua Shayenne (Shayenne Productions) and co-presented with Lua Shayenne Dance Company, with choreography and musical composition by Fara Tolno, this premiere production will be presented from June 6 - 9, 2019 at Fleck Dance Theatre, as part of the Luminato Festival 2019.

As part of its 2019 Spring Puppet Performance Series, the Ballard Institute and Museum of Puppetry at the University of Connecticut is pleased to present Goldilocks and the Three Bears by Stevens Puppets of Indiana on April 27, 2019 at 11 a.m. and 2 p.m. in the Ballard Institute Theater, located at 1 Royce Circle in Downtown Storrs.

Peppa Pig, George and their friends are back with a brand new show. Peppa Pig Live! Peppa Pig's Adventure visits The Hanover Theatre and Conservatory for the Performing Arts on Friday, September 6 at 6pm. Tickets are on sale now to members and to the public on Friday, April 5 at 10am.

The Hanover Theatre and Conservatory for the Performing Arts is honored to be one of only a handful of New England organizations to receive a Challenge America Grant from the National Endowment for the Arts from a national pool of applicants. The $10,000 grant will support the theatre's Adopt-A-School program. Endowment for the Arts Acting Chairman Mary Anne Carter recently approved more than $27 million in grants as a part of the arts endowment's first major funding announcement for fiscal year 2019. Challenge America grants support projects that extend the reach of the arts to underserved populations of those whose opportunities to experience the arts are limited by geography, ethnicity, economics or disability.
