Celeb Studded ‘ALL ARTS Docs: Manhattan Theatre Club, a Home for Artists’ explores the history and influence of the iconic theater. Featuring interviews with Sarah Jessica Parker, Christine Baranski, and more. Premieres on November 21 at 9pm ET on ALL ARTS.

​​​​​​​ALL ARTS, the streaming platform and channel dedicated to the arts, will debut the new film ALL ARTS Docs: Manhattan Theatre Club, a Home for Artists on Tuesday, November 21 at 9 p.m. ET. Learn more about the documentary and find out where you can watch it here!

Through interviews with stage and screen stars who honed their craft at Manhattan Theatre Club (MTC), including David Auburn, Christine Baranski, André De Shields, Laura Linney, John Patrick Shanley, Sarah Jessica Parker and Sam Waterston, the film chronicles the career-making momentsthat have come to define MTC. Panelists include Tovah Feldshuh, the first Jewish actress to play Mrs. Rosie Brice in “Funny Girl,” and renowned lyricist Bruce Sussman (“Harmony”) and award-winning playwright Alfred Uhry (“Parade”), who will share their insights and experiences on this critical issue.

ALL ARTS will premiere Dangerous Acts, a House Seats special directed by renowned actor and Dean of Howard University’s Chadwick A. Boseman College of Fine Arts Phylicia Rashad.  

Stars include Nadia Brown (“Harry Potter and the Cursed Child”), Sara Esty (“The Phantom of the Opera”), Leslie Donna Flesner (“Funny Girl”), Ayana George (“MJ: The Musical”), L Morgan Lee (“A Strange Loop”), Andrea Macasaet (“Six: The Musical”), Caleb Marshall-Villarreal (“Moulin Rouge! The Musical”), and John Eric Parker (“The Book of Mormon”).

​​​​​​​ALL ARTS, the New York Emmy-winning multimedia streaming platform dedicated to the arts, will present the world premiere of Experiments in Opera’s made-for-TV opera Everything for Dawn this fall. 

ALL ARTS will join forces with Capital One City Parks Foundation SummerStage to present its first live dance program, featuring Les Ballet Afrik, July 15 at Flushing Meadows Corona Park. The performances are part of a SummerStage double bill that also features Nai-Ni Chen Dance Company.

#PBSForTheArts kicks off with new programming filmed within the constraints of the pandemic: GREAT PERFORMANCES “Romeo & Juliet” (Friday, April 23 at 9:00 p.m. ET), a contemporary rendering of Shakespeare’s romantic tragedy from the National Theatre.

Last night, WNET hosted its annual WNET Gala, to celebrate artists and honor patrons of the American arts community in gratitude of their continued support of emerging creatives. A who's who of stars and patrons gathered at the Plaza Hotel Monday evening to shine a spotlight on seven 2019 honorees for their contributions to the arts including two-time Tony Award-winning actor Nathan Lane, American opera singer Renee Fleming, CEO of AMC Networks Josh Sapan, artistic director and CEO of Ballet Hispanico Eduardo Vilaro, and philanthropists Jody and John Arnhold of the Arnhold Foundation, recognizing them for their outstanding work in the arts, media, and philanthropy.
