The full cast has been set for Atonement, coming to Chichester Festival Theatre this month. The production is by Ian McEwan and adapted for the stage by Christopher Hampton.

The National Theatre has announced full casting for Bacchae, a new play by Nima Taleghani (Heartstopper) after Euripides, the first time a debut play will be staged in the Oliver theatre. 

Work on the construction of the RSC’s outdoor theatre, The Holloway Garden Theatre will commence on Monday 1 July.  Plus, casting has been announced for Shakespeare's As You Like It.

Regent's Park Open Air Theatre has announced the full cast and creative team for their forthcoming production of the Tony and Olivier Award-winning musical Once On This Island.

It's always a hard task to 'put a spin' on a story as traditional and well known as Charles Dickens' A Christmas Carol. Morgan Lloyd Malcolm's adaptation gives us a female Scrooge, Charlie Dickens as a magical narrator and a school of cold and hungry children, run by Scrooge's nephew and his wife, who help create a story to teach the miserly Scrooge a lesson.

The Rose Theatre will present A Christmas Carol, adapted by Morgan Lloyd Malcolm, with music by Eamonn O’Dwyer and directed by Rosie Jones from 2 December 2022. Press Night 8 December, until 2 January 2023. See rehearsal photos here!

Today, Nottingham Playhouse announces the full casting for Adrian Scarborough’s adaptation of Alan Bennett’s comic novella The Clothes They Stood Up In. Opening in September, this is the first time the popular story has been told on stage and kicks off the Playhouse’s Autumn season.
