After several months away from the spotlight, Birdland favorite and family member Natalie Douglas is back on the Birdland Stage.

Every single Monday for the past eighteen years, host Caruso, along with the Cast Party Symphony Orchestra led by Billy Stritch (Daniel Glass on drums and Steve Doyle on bass) hosts Jim Caruso’s Cast Party shining a spotlight on an awe-inspiring variety of talent.

Thirteen-time MAC Award, two-time Backstage Bistro Award and Nightlife Award Winner Natalie Douglas returned to the Broadway at Birdland spotlight with a new evening of her favorite songs, “I Just Might,” on Monday, May 23.

BIRDLAND JAZZ CLUB will present a historic evening with two legendary Broadway stars Anita Gillette and Lee Roy Reams for the first time on Monday, June 13 at 7:00 PM.

The Eugene O’Neill Theater Center has announced its 2022 summer season, which features the return of some beloved in-person public events put on pause during the virtual and hybrid seasons of 2020 and 2021.

 KT Sullivan, Artistic Director of the Mabel Mercer Foundation hosted the finals of The 5th Adela & Larry Elow American Songbook High School Competition yesterday in the Laurie Beechman Theater at The West Bank Cafe. The competition prize money was endowed by Board Members Adela and Larry Elow to encourage teenagers to learn and perform The Great American Songbook, which was composed between the years 1900-1970.

BIRDLAND JAZZ CLUB will present Nashville vocalist Wendy Moten – best known for her 2021 run on NBC’s “The Voice” – in a special concert on Monday, May 16 at 7:00 PM. Her show will include songwriter Richard Whiting hits including “He’s Funny That Way,” “My Ideal,” “Miss Brown,” and “Too Marvelous For Words.”

Urban Stages' Artistic, Producing Director, Frances Hill announces MUSICAL MARATHON FOR UKRAINE, featuring musical artists from Ukraine and from NYC's Urban Stages. The event will present four different shows on Saturday, April 23rd beginning at 2:00, 4:00, 6:00, and 8:00 PM at Urban Stages' Theater (259 West 30th Street).

The thirty-sixth annual MAC Awards were presented on Tuesday night in a ceremony that was widely remarked upon for the length of its duration.

The Eugene O'Neill Theater Center is now accepting applications for the Cabaret & Performance Conference Fellows Program. The professional program, helmed by Artistic Director John McDaniel, will take place August 10-20, 2022 on the O'Neill's seaside campus.
