ISLE of KLEZBOS, the swinging all-women's klezmer sextet, will celebrate Women's History Month with a special concert at City Winery Loft on Saturday, March 16 at 9:00 PM

Bay Area Cabaret welcomes back world-renowned guitarist and singer John Pizzarelli and singer Jessica Molaskey, a duo Time Magazine calls the "Astaire-Rodgers of the cabaret world." Bay Area Cabaret audiences will have the chance to see, or choose between, two varied programs:  The first, at 3:30 is a centennial tribute to Nat King Cole, a Venetian Room regular, whose work is celebrated on Mr. Pizzarelli's upcoming CD, Centenially Yours. The second show, American Stories, at 7:30, is a duo show by John and his talented wife Jessica that debuted at Cafe Carlyle and features an eclectic mix of music by George and Ira Gershwin, Johnny Mercer, Paul Simon, Stephen Sondheim, Stevie Nicks and the couple's signature mashups and medleys. Aligned both in their love of the American Songbook and their desire to expand and present it to new audiences, Bay Area Cabaret and John Pizzarelli and his wife Jessica enjoy a partnership that reaches back well over a decade.

Boston Ballet's 2018-2019 spring season opens with Full on Forsythe, a program that showcases the many facets of acclaimed choreographer William Forsythe with three of his works including Playlist (EP), Forsythe's first world premiere created on an American company since 1992, the North American premiere of Blake Works I, and the return of Pas/Parts 2018. Full on Forsythe runs March 7-17 at the Boston Opera House.

Composer, arranger, and conductor, David Berger, is recognized internationally as a leading authority on the music of Duke Ellington and the Swing Era. Conductor and arranger for the Jazz at Lincoln Center Orchestra from its inception in 1988 through 1994, Berger has transcribed more than 750 full scores of classic recordings, including more than 500 works by Duke Ellington and Billy Strayhorn. Several of these transcriptions in addition to a number of original arrangements are featured in last season's Broadway hit, After Midnight.

GHOSTLIGHT DELUXE, an imprint of Ghostlight Records, has announced the release of For Centennial Reasons: 100 Year Salute to Nat King Cole - the new album from the JOHN PIZZARELLI TRIO - in physical, digital and streaming formats on Friday, February 8. Following high-profile collaborations with Sir Paul McCartney and Michael McDonald, Pizzarelli returns to his roots to honor his hero, the legendary jazz/pop vocalist and pianist Nat King Cole, whose centennial is being celebrated around the world this year with various concerts, books and recordings. For Centennial Reasons completes an epic trio of Pizzarelli albums saluting Cole, starting with Dear Mr. Cole, which helped put Pizzarelli on the map as an influential jazz guitarist and singer in 1994, and continuing with P.S. After 11 prior sold-out performances, television personality, pop singer, and author Luann de Lesseps- known as the Countess on "The Real Housewives of New York City"- returns to Feinstein's/54 Below with her hit nightclub act, #CountessAndFriends.  She will play for ten performances on January 19, February 20, March 12, 13, 14, 15, 16, 20 and 21 at 7pm and February 20 at 9:30pm.

In a career that spans more than three decades, legendary and Grammy-nominated saxophonist Dave Koz returns to the road this holiday season for his 21st annual Dave Koz Christmas Tour. Special guests joining Dave this year will be Mindi Abair, pop/blues saxophonist/singer who makes her first Christmas tour appearance; South African guitarist/singer Jonathan Butler; and Japanese keyboard sensation Keiko Matsui.

This December, Tony Award-winning actress Sutton Foster and renowned actor Hugh Bonneville, of 'Downton Abbey' on MASTERPIECE, will star as guest musical artist and narrator, respectively, in the beloved annual holiday television special 'Christmas with the Mormon Tabernacle Choir' on PBS and BYUtv. A 60-minute version of the program returns for the 15th consecutive year when it premieres at 9 p.m. ET on Monday, Dec. 17 (check local listings) on PBS stations. The special has been the top-viewed holiday program on PBS nearly every year for the past 14 years[1]. BYUtv, a nationwide family entertainment network that produces the broadcast and co-presents it to millions of viewers worldwide alongside WGBH, will air the full 90-minute version at 8 p.m. ET on Thursday, Dec. 20.

The Eli and Edythe Broad Stage in Santa Monica presents Amy Keys, on Friday, December 7 at 8:00pm. Amy Keys is the fourth evening of blackbox @ the edye, which transforms The Edye into a club featuring up-and-coming jazz and blues artists.  The series is curated and hosted by The Reverend Shawn Amos; he and his house band perform at select shows during the season as well.   

Boston Court Pasadena will bring another daring year of theater and music events to Southern California for their 2019 season, and welcomes the S. Mark Taper Foundation as sponsor of the 2019 theater season. Artistic Directors Jessica Kubzansky, Michael Michetti and Mark Saltzman have programmed more than 100 performances of music and theater on two stages, continuing the company's dedication to new work, reimagined classics, and both emerging and established artists.
