What did our critic think of RULES FOR LIVING at Round House Theatre?

Round House Theatre will stage the U.S. premiere of Sam Holcroft’s Rules for Living from December 3, 2025, to January 4, 2026, directed by Artistic Director Ryan Rilette in Bethesda.

This past week the DC theatre community lost one of its visionaries with the passing of Artistic Director/Director/Performer/Mentor Jerry B. Whiddon at age 77. For twenty years Jerry served as the Producing Artistic Director Of Round House Theatre. The company was born out of Street 70 which Jerry helped start in 1970.

The final play of the season at Studio Theatre comes with some environmental warnings. The production includes “nontoxing vaping, loud music, and controlled water spray, some of which might hit the audience.”
