The Discovery Orchestra made a welcome return to the concert stage Sunday after a pandemic break with an exploration of French composer Camille Saint-Saëns'epic masterwork Symphony No. 3 in C Minor (the 'Organ' Symphony). The Emmy Award-nominated, Summit, New Jersey-based orchestra, led by Founder andArtistic Director George Marriner Maull, taped its sixth national public television special at the Hauser Auditorium at The Pingry School in BaskingRidge, New Jersey. The special, Discover Saint-Saëns' 'Organ' Symphony, features a 90-piece orchestra and is projected to begin a three-year national distribution by American Public Television in May.

Acclaimed GRAMMY-winning choir The Crossing is featured alongside JACK Quartet and musicians from the University of Michigan on John Luther Adams' Sila: The Breath of the World, out today on Cantaloupe Music. BAM Live at Fort Greene Park, is a free concert series that brings Brooklyn residents together for live outdoor music and performances. Produced by Danny Kapilian, this year's concerts will take place over two weekends—Saturdays and Sundays, October 1 & 2 and October 8 & 9.

Centerstage Theatre launches their 2022-2023 season with the creepy thriller, The Ghost Train.  Just in time for Halloween, it runs from October 7-30, 2022 with three weekly performances at the Knutzen Family Theater on Dumas Bay in Federal Way, WA.  This long-running comedy-mystery has delighted audiences for almost 100 years.

The Minnesota Orchestra's governing body and its musicians have approved a new four-year collective bargaining agreement (CBA), effective immediately and extending through August 31, 2026. The agreement was separately ratified by both the Board of Directors and the musicians, who are members of the Twin Cities Musicians' Union (Local 30-73).

Marylebone Theatre presents a realisation of an unfinished, visionary work by Friedrich Schiller. Dmitry (based on the peerless dramatist’s incomplete play Demetrius), will launch the bold new venue’s inaugural season and will star The Crown’s Tom Byrne (The Crown, Netflix; Twelfth Night, RSC; Black Mirror, Netflix) in the title role. The team of Alli Miller-Fisher, Chadd McMillan and Sarah Haworth-Hodges direct this Burlesque musical parody mashup set to chart-topping music with the cast of: Ty Deran, Kristyn Evelyn, Everjohn Feliciano, Bianca Gisselle, Emma Hunton,  Carly Jibson, Janaya Mahealani Jones, Meredith Lim, Alli Miller-Fisher, Matthew Scott Montgomery, Shelly Regner, Sarah Wines, Lauren Avon and Brin Hamblin. Emma managed to carve out some time to answer a few of my queries.
