FOX has renewed PRODIGAL SON for a second season, it was announced today by Michael Thorn, President, Entertainment, for FOX Entertainment.

Sherman Theatre has released two short plays written and donated by award-winning Welsh playwright and Sherman Theatre Associate Artist Gary Owen (Iphigenia in Splott, Killology and The Cherry Orchard). The plays are now available to view online with performances from celebrated actors Lynn Hunter and Michael Sheen.

Auden (pictured above), e.e. cummings, T.S. Eliot, Robert Frost, Pablo Neruda (his first U.S. reading), Kay Ryan, U.S. Poet Laureate Joy Harjo, Adrienne Rich, Mary Oliver , Tracy K. Smith and Seamus Heaney, among many others.  All of the poets mentioned have appeared at 92Y as part of the Poetry Center's main reading series; the Poetry Center began in 1939.

At its height in the late 90s, Who Wants to be a Millionaire was must-see television. Hosted by Chris Tarrant, the show premiered in 1998 and was an overnight ratings sensation. After an unwavering run of success, controversy reared its head in 2001. Major Charles Ingram bagged the big prize, only to later be exposed as a cheat thanks to an accomplice who coughed to signal each correct answer. The show's life went on, but in many ways its once bright light had been irrevocably dimmed.

AMC announced today that the premiere date for its three-part drama series Quiz will be Sunday, May 31 at 10/9c. The second and third episodes will air on Sunday, June 7 and Sunday, June 14 at 9/8c, respectively. The full series will also be available to binge on AMC Premiere beginning Sunday, May 31 at 10/9c.

ITV has announced that the television adaptation of the James Graham play Quiz will debut on April 13.
