The Scottish play is coming back to Broadway! On March 29, previews begin for MACBETH, directed by Tony Award winner Sam Gold (A Doll's House, Part 2; Fun Home). As The Gift Theatre embarks on its 20th anniversary, its Board of Directors today announced a change in artistic leadership and plans for a new performance space in Chicago's Jefferson Park neighborhood. Co-founder and Artistic Director Michael Patrick Thornton will step down from his post after helming the theatre for two decades.
