This August, New York City will host the first ever Classical Bridge, an international music festival, academy and conference designed to build bridges through the music. Sony Music Masterworks Announces Release Of The Punk-Fueled Soundtrack To HOW TO TALK TO GIRLS AT PARTIES

Sony Music Masterworks has announced the release of How To Talk To Girls At Parties (Original Motion Picture Soundtrack),the musical companion to the hugely anticipated new film from award-winning writer-director, John Cameron Mitchell (Hedwig and the Angry Inch), based on the short story by Neil Gaiman (American Gods, Norse Mythology). The album arrives at all music retailers and streaming services on Friday, May 11. Out today ahead of the full soundtrack release is the single track, 'Between the Breaths' from beloved indie-darlings, Mitski and Xiu Xiu. The A24 release of a See-Saw Films/Little Punk production, How to Talk to Girls at Parties opens in theaters across the U.S on May 25. StudioCanal UK releases the film across the UK on May 11.

South Orange Performing Arts Center's famed Jazz and Blues in the Loft Series, curated by Lee May & Mike Griot, is now bringing more of a great thing to SOPAC audiences with Best of the Loft on May 6 at 7 p.m. Four of the most popular artists from the series will be presented on the mainstage, making for one stellar evening of entertainment. Best of the Loft will be hosted by co-writer, producer, choreographer and star of the long-running Shades of Harlem revue show, Ty Stephens.

PASS OVER was by far one of the best productions to grace a Chicago stage last season, and now anyone with an Amazon account will have the privilege to see this searing, timely, and extraordinarily necessary production come Friday. It is nothing short of remarkable that now so many will have access to this beautiful interpretation of Nwandu's play. This is compulsory viewing for all, and it is an incredible opportunity to see a filmed version of PASS OVER that truly represents the immediacy of live theater.

LCT3/Lincoln Center Theater has announced that Gabriel Ebert, Jon Michael Hill, and Namir Smallwood will be featured in its upcoming production of PASS OVER, a new play by Antoinette Nwandu, directed by Danya Taymor, at the Claire Tow Theater (150 West 65 Street). This New York premiere of PASS OVER will begin performances Saturday evening, June 2 and run for six weeks only throughSunday, July 15. Opening night is Monday, June 18.

Steppenwolf Theatre Company Artistic Director Anna D. Shapiro announced today the addition of Celeste M. Cooper and Cliff Chamberlain to the world-renowned Steppenwolf ensemble. Cooper, an in-demand Chicago-based actor, recently performed in Steppenwolf's production of BLKS and Chamberlain, a regular on the Steppenwolf stage, was recently featured in The Minutes by ensemble member Tracy Letts.
