Last night, shortly before the show was about to begin, the official opening night of The Collaboration was cancelled due to a case of Covid-19 in the cast detected during pre-show testing. Beck Center for the Arts, one of the oldest continuously running Youth Theater programs in the nation has announced the 74th Youth Theater Season for 2022-2023.

Watch the trailer for The Courtroom, directed by acclaimed theater director Lee Sunday Evans (Dance Nation, Oratorio for Living Things), with a screenplay by Arian Moayed (Tony Award®-nominated actor and beloved as Stewyon the Emmy Award winning Succession, and Todd Spodek of Inventing Anna).

Today, The Bentonville Film Festival unveiled their distinguished Competition Jury, singularly dedicated to inclusive representation in media and entertainment. The festival, produced by the BFFoundation and chaired by Academy Award-winning Actor Geena Davis, will take place in-person June 22-26 and virtually June 22-July 3. The illustrious group of jurors is composed of award-winning producers, directors, actors and authors, including actor Yolonda Ross, film and television producer Bird Runningwater, actor Shohreh Aghdashloo, writer and filmmaker Justine Bateman, among others. The Festival is sponsored by Founding Partner, Walmart and Presenting Partner Coca-Cola. 

Beck Center for the Arts has announced that Lucinda “Cindy” Einhouse has completed, and published, the first history book about Beck Center for the Arts covering the organization's nearly 90 years of existence.

Beck Center for the Arts has announced the fourth production of their 2021-2022 Youth Theater Season. The 73rd season continues with a funny classic, Bugsy Malone, written by Allen Parker, with music and lyrics by Paul Williams, running May 6 to May 15, 2022, in the Senney Theater.
