Bravo's 'Top Chef' jets to the City of Angels for Season 17 with All Stars LA, premiering with a supersized episode on Thursday, March 19 from 10 - 11:15 pm ET/PT. The Emmy and James Beard Award-winning series returns with 10 Finalists and 5 Front Runners, chasing the one thing that eluded them all -- the coveted title of 'Top Chef.' It has been nine seasons since the first All Stars competition, and these chefs aren't holding any punches as they battle it out for the largest cash prize in 'Top Chef' history. The chefs will compete across iconic locations in Los Angeles including the Griffith Observatory, The Getty Center, The Walt Disney Concert Hall, the LA Coliseum, and for the first time in show history, an epic finale in Italy. Am 25. Februar feierte das Gartnerplatztheater Munchen mit Galt MacDermots Rock Musical HAIR Premiere in der Reithalle. In keinem Musical wurden die Ideale der Hippie-Generation so auf den Punkt gebracht wie in diesem Broadway-Hit von 1967. 47 Jahre nach der skandalumwitterten deutschen Erstauffuhrung im Oktober 1968 im Munchner Theater in der Brienner Straße ist das Hippie-Happening jetzt wieder in Munchen zu erleben - mit der großartigen Rockmusik von damals, neu in Szene gesetzt von Gil Mehmert und Melissa King.
Das Publikum bei der Premiere war euphorisch, und wegen der extrem großen Nachfrage wurde inzwischen noch eine Zusatzvorstellung anberaumt. Vorstellungen laufen noch bis 17 Marz, mit der Sondervorstellung am 12 Marz. Die Presse zeigte sich ahnlich begeistert von diesem betagten amerikanischen Klassiker, der heute wieder erschreckend aktuell ist. Das hatten die Kritiker zu sagen:

Leonard Bernsteins WEST SIDE STORY zahlt zu den Klassikern des Musicalrepertoires. Die Geschichte um zwei Banden in Amerika basiert auf William Shakespeares Drama um Romeo und Julia und ist bis heute zeitlos. Zwischen Spannung und Ruhrung vereint Bernsteins die Perspektiven der unterschiedlichen Kulturen und Generationen in seiner Musik. Regisseurin und Choreographin Melissa King bringt die WEST SIDE STORY unter der Musikalischen Leitung von Chefdirigent Otto Tausk auf die Buhne des Theaters St.Gallen. Die Premiere in St. Gallen, mit Lisa Antoni und Andreas Bongard in den Hauptrollen fand am vergangenen Samstag statt. Weitere Vorstellungen finden noch bis zum 1. Juni statt. Die Kritiker zeigten sich begeistert von dieser explosiven Inszenierung, die gerade heute wieder hochaktuell ist.
Der Ticketverkauf hat fur den 2016 Lauf des beruhmten deutschen Erstauffuhrung Produktion von NEXT TO NORMAL, von Titus Hoffmann in Wien, Österreich gerichtet, im Museumsquartier begonnen, mit Pia Douwes, Felix Martin,Dirk Johnston, Sabrina Weckerlin und Dominik Hees.
