Musical Theatre Factory Tune In Tuesdays continues on May 5 with Douglas Lyons and Ethan Pakchar's BEAU. BEAU had a rousing launch production at the 25th season of the Adirondack Theatre Festival last year; after development with MTF, The Directors Company, Lincoln Center, Roundabout Theatre Company and Bucks County Playhouse.

Musical Theatre Factory (MTF) Tune In Tuesdays series continues on April 21 with Shakina Nayfack's (Transparent, Difficult People) MANIFEST PUSSY, a rock concert/standup special/ritual sacrifice that follows Shakina's pilgrimage to Thailand for gender confirmation.

Musical Theatre Factory (MTF) is launching online programming to continue providing the community of makers and lovers of musical theatre with spaces to gather, create, and inspire. Programming begins on Tuesday April 14, 8pm with TUNE IN TUESDAYS - a series of live streamed concerts, starting with Troy Anthony and Friends.

The Bushwick Starr has partnered with National Black Theatre in presenting the world premiere of SKiNFoLK: An American Show, created by playwright and performer Jillian Walker (Blue Ink at Joe's Pub at The Public Theater, Sarah's Salt. developed at Roundabout Theater Company and MCC Theater), recent recipient of the NEA grant and the 2020-21 Tow Playwright-in-Residence at Soho Rep. Featuring the work of Troy Anthony (The River is Me, Dark Girl Chronicles, Antioch Mass) in his Joe's Pub debut sung by a 12 piece all POC choir and additional guest performers, alongside the work of collaborators Sukari Jones and Nia Witherspoon, Troy will also be joined be special guest artists representing the Musical Theatre Factory POC Roundtable - Rona Siddiqui, Michelle J. Rodriguez, Jerome Ellis, and Kirya Traber & Sissi Liu - in a powerful evening of song!

Fault Line Theatre (Aaron Rossini, Producing Artistic Director) will present the world-premiere of Twenty Twenty: a play, written by Alix Sobler and directed by Aaron Rossini as the mainstage production for their 10th anniversary season. Twenty Twenty was commissioned and developed by Fault Line Theatre and will play the Paradise Factory (64 East 4th Street) from October 23 - November 21, 2020.

Created by AriDy Nox and Brandon Webster this will be a riveting evening featuring songs and scenes from the genre-bending score and time-twisting book of this brand new dystopian musical - It is the night before the Apocalypse and Fari, an Android-Unit turned space-time-continuum anarchist is at the center of the devastation. The Fari Chronicles is a concert rendition of the First Act of the afrofuturist musical Metropolis.

Tantrum Theater, Ohio University's professional theater company, announces an innovative new collaborative partnership with Musical Theatre Factory (MTF), a leading non-profit organization focused on developing bold and inclusive new musicals by early career artists. The first new work from this partnership will be a developmental reading of the new musical Eighty-Sixed by Sam Salmond and Jeremy J. King, with a public performance on January 18, 2020.
