Cygnet Theatre has announced extension of Cabaret run dates due to popular demand. The show will run from July 13 - September 4, 2022.

Cygnet Theatre has announced the cast and creative team for the remount of one of its best selling hit musicals, Cabaret.

Interview with Rae Henderson-Gray is pulling double duty for this production, both as the Managing Director of NVA and appearing as the Witch in the show.  She spoke withbus on the production, tackling such an iconic show and character, and why working this production has been a challenge and a dream. Playing through May 1st.

A Christmas Carol returns to Cygnet Theatre for its seventh season of cheer. It has become a true holiday favorite, with San Diegans making Scrooge, the Spirits, and the Cratchit family part of their holiday tradition. Cygnet Theatre has announced a full lineup of holiday programming for December, 2020. While the news is bleak and spirits may not be as high as usual for this time of year, the theatre hopes to bring some joy into the homes of San Diegans with their December programming. Programs include the cabaret-style Musical Monday: Home for the Holidays, a streaming version of the 2011 production It's a Wonderful Life, and their continued tradition of presenting A Christmas Carol, this year as a new one-man, original filmed adaptation featuring Artistic Director Sean Murray.

From classic to contemporary, a remount to a World Premiere, Cygnet Theatre's 18th season is filled with emotional, physical and theatrical dexterity.

And for the first time, Cygnet Theatre is pleased to add a sensory friendly performance to the schedule. The family-friendly musical runs November 27 - December 29 at Cygnet Theatre in Old Town. Opening Night for Media is Saturday, November 30 at 8:00pm. 

ROCK OF AGES, now playing at the Cygnet Theatre in Old Town through August 25th, is a rock 'n' roll fairytale that wants everyone to have 'nothin' but a good time.'

Season 17 kicks off with the crowd-pleasing, Tony-nominated jukebox musical Rock of Ages. Directed by Sean Murray, this exhilarating rock and roll experience runs July 2 through August 25, 2019. Opening Night for media is Saturday, July 6 at 8:00PM.

As Jordan Berman pounds the New York City pavement searching for Mr. Right, he wards off lonely nights with his trio of close-knit girlfriends. As singles' nights turn into bachelorette parties, Jordan must face his own capacity to love and be loved. This hilarious and heart-wrenching Broadway comedy dives into the trenches of urban single life and the aspirational gay wedding, reminding us that you can't hurry love-no matter how much you wish you could.

A Christmas Carol returns to Cygnet Theatre for it's fifth season of cheer. And while it has become a tried and true holiday favorite, each year it's kept fresh and new. This year patrons will enjoy a new musical sequence and a new cast member, along with a fun (and furry) new community partner! The family-friendly musical runs November 28 - December 30 at Cygnet Theatre in Old Town. Opening Night for Media is Saturday, December 1 at 8:00pm.

A LITTLE NIGHT MUSIC, now playing at Cygnet Theatre through April 22nd, is a romantic and wistful production that brings a lovely and poignant portrait to the Cygnet stage.

Cygnet is thrilled to revisit one of its favorite musicals, Stephen Sondheim's A Little Night Music, which was a hit with critics and audiences in 2008. The Tony Award winning musical is considered one of Sondheim's most beloved works, and features stunning melodies including the popular 'Send in the Clowns'. Cygnet's production is directed by Sean Murray and runs Mar. 7 - Apr. 22. Opening night for media is Mar. 10.
