Meek Mill & Roddy Rich Pen a Powerful 'Letter to Nipsey'

GRAMMY® nominated rapper and criminal justice reform advocate Meek Mill has teamed up with rising rap superstar Roddy Ricch for a powerful collaboration titled “Letter to Nipsey,” an emotional song dedicated to their late collaborator and close friend, GRAMMY® winning artist Nipsey Hussle.

Final Round Of Performers Added To 62nd Annual GRAMMY Awards Lineup

The Recording Academy® has confirmed the final slate of performers for the 62nd Annual GRAMMY Awards®. Previously announced Gary Clark Jr., will be joined by The Roots to perform Clark's GRAMMY-nominated song 'This Land.' Preservation Hall Jazz Band and Trombone Shorty will unite to honor those we have lost this year in a touching In Memoriam piece. And, Sheila E. will take the stage with Usher for an exciting GRAMMY Salute to Prince. Live from STAPLES Center, and hosted by Alicia Keys, the 62nd Annual GRAMMY Awards will be broadcast live in HDTV and 5.1 surround sound on the CBS Television Network, Sunday, Jan. 26at 8:00 p.m. ET/5:00 p.m. PT.

In keeping with the tradition of presenting signature 'GRAMMY® Moments,' the Recording Academy® has announced two special segments to take place on the 62nd Annual GRAMMY Awards®. The first, 'Old Town Road All-Stars,' will feature current nominees Lil Nas X and Billy Ray Cyrus joined by BTS, Diplo, Mason Ramsey, and other surprise guests. Over the past year, 'Old Town Road' has been the subject of numerous mixes and mashups, which inspired bringing together a number of acts who have performed it, making it a one-of-a-kind performance.

Cynthia Erivo, Billy Porter & More Will Present at the 2020 GRAMMY AWARDS!

The Recording Academy® announced their lineup of artists, musicians, actors, and comedians who will take the stage as presenters at the 62nd Annual GRAMMY Awards®. This year's presenters include current GRAMMY® nominees Jim Gaffigan and Trevor Noah; GRAMMY winners Common, Cynthia Erivo, Dua Lipa, Billy Porter, Smokey Robinson, Shania Twain, Keith Urban, and Stevie Wonder; past GRAMMY nominees Ava DuVernay and Bebe Rexha; and music industry moguls Sharon and Ozzy Osbourne. Additionally, previously announced Brandi Carlile and Tanya Tucker will play double duty as both presenters and performers.

Nipsey Hussle GRAMMY Tribute To Feature DJ Khaled, John Legend, & More!

The Recording Academy® has announced an all-star tribute to the late Nipsey Hussle to take place on the 62nd Annual GRAMMY Awards®. Set to pay posthumous honor to the current three-time GRAMMY® nominee are Kirk Franklin, DJ Khaled, John Legend, Meek Mill, Roddy Ricch and YG. Live from STAPLES Center, and hosted by Alicia Keys, the 62nd Annual GRAMMY Awards will be broadcast live in HDTV and 5.1 surround sound on the CBS Television Network, Sunday, Jan. 26, 2020, at 8:00 p.m. ET/5:00 p.m. PT. The artists announced today join previously announced performers Aerosmith; Camila Cabello; Billie Eilish; Ariana Grande; H.E.R.; Jonas Brothers; Lizzo; Demi Lovato; Rosalía; RUN DMC; Blake Shelton; Gwen Stefani; Tyler, The Creator; and Charlie Wilson. 

Roddy Ricch Dominates Charts With the Number One Song and Album in the Country

3x GRAMMY® Award-nominated rapper Roddy Ricch is dominating the charts as he currently holds the number one song and number one album in the country. This is his first number one on Billboard's Hot R&B/Hip-Hop Songs chart now that the “The Box” rose from number three on the January 11th chart. “The Box” also ascended to number one on Hot Rap Songs and races 13-3 on the Billboard Hot 100.

In 2015, the world lost a creative genius and music star A$AP Yams, while A$AP Mob lost their brother. Today, on A$AP Yams' birthday, it was announced that on Friday, January 17 his life will be celebrated with the fifth annual Yams Day at the Barclays Center in Brooklyn.
