Troupe today announces the full cast for The Sweet Science of Bruising by Joy Wilkinson which transfers to Wilton's Music Hall, following its sold-out run at Southwark Playhouse last year. The production opens at Wilton's Music Hall on 7 June, with previews from 5 June, and runs until 29 June.

The Recording Academy announced today its newly elected National Officers of the Board of Trustees, voted upon at the organization's annual spring Board of Trustees meeting in May. Record producer Harvey Mason Jr. has been elected as the Chair of the Board of Trustees, and managing partner of Placement Music Tammy Hurt will serve as Vice Chair. Veteran music executive Terry Hemmings was re-elected Secretary/Treasurer and recording artist and founder/CEO of Swan Songs Christine Albert assumes the position of Chair Emeritus. All officer appointments were effective on June 1, 2019.

The Ensemble Theatre kicks off its season finale musical Josephine Tonight, a story highlighting the early life of activist and entertainment icon Josephine Baker. Actress DeQuina Moore, is set to play the starring role. Moore is a Houston native and Ensemble Theatre Young Performer Program Alumna whose career achievements include work on Broadway, television, and film. Her performances in "Little Shop of Horrors", "Legally Blond", and touring with Tyler Perry are just a few of her many accolades.
