Season six American Idol finalist and recording artist Melinda Doolittle is set to return with her show Great American Soul Book to Catalina Jazz Club in Hollywood for one performance only on Wednesday, February 5, at 8:30pm, it was announced today by Chris Isaacson Presents and Catalina.

The 1990 romantic comedy Pretty Woman is notable for its stars, Julia Roberts and Richard Gere, and of course, the theme song that inspired it, Roy Orbison's Number One hit “Oh, Pretty Woman.” Yet there's another song closely associated with the film – the adult contemporary smash “Fallen” by Lauren Wood.

The curse struck again on press night of The Watermill Theatre's London transfer of Macbeth, with Lauryn Redding (allegedly) dislocating both knees during Paul Hart's energetic opening. A hero was lying low in the audience. Emma Barclay, former Lady Macduff of the project when it was touring the country last year and a guest on the evening, took over and delivered the role and ensemble track flawlessly and seemingly off book. The show went on to be an electric and sexually charged revisitation of the tragedy.

The Atlanta-based Yacht Rock Revue has debuted their new single 'Bad Tequila,' the third song released from YRR's first album of original music HOT DADS in TIGHT JEANS (out February 21st). American Songwriter premiered the song and praised the album, saying 'HOT DADS fuses everything YRR is in disco-rock funk beats and typical cheeky humor, all wrapped in old-school, radio countdown tracks.'

CAG's 19-20 season continues on Tuesday, February 11 with pianist Yi-Nuo Wang, the First Prize Winner of the 2018 CAG Competition. This win was one several in a series of impressive first-prize performances by Yi-Nuo, along with the 2019 a?oeCharlotte Whitea?? Career Grant from the Salon de Virtuosi in New York City and the 2017 Wideman International Piano Competition in Louisiana. An active performer in China, Europe, and the United States, Yi-Nuo recently earned her Performer's Diploma under the tutelage of pianist Alessio Bax at Southern Methodist University in Dallas. She is currently studying at The Juilliard School under Dr. Robert McDonald.

The UK's own China Crisis and Canada's new wave pioneers Rational Youth, two of the most illustrious bands of the 1980s, will unite for a special show at Toronto's Revival Bar.
