Dorset Theatre Festival is celebrating the Festival's 41st season with the 2018 Summer Stars Celebration Gala honoring Trustee Rick Jackson. The Gala will take place at 6:00 P.M. on July 8th at the Old Gray Barn (1582 VT Route 30, Rupert, VT 05768) and will feature music by the Roadside Blues Band, a special guest performance by international concert and recording artist Maxine Linehan, and a live auction.

Internationally acclaimed concert and recording artist Maxine Linehan has released her first original single, “Living Proof (You're Gonna Hear Us Now).” Inspired by the brave students in Parkland, Florida and the youth movement sweeping the nation including the March For Our Lives, and to financially support Everytown for Gun Safety, with proceeds being donated to the organization.
Maxine Linehan brought a St. Patrick's EVE pride in her Irish roots to the Feinstein's/54 Below stage with her show "One: The Songs of U2". A veteran of numerous performances at the club, this was her 3rd incarnation of the tribute show in the venue.
Directed by Scott Siegel, the evening's band consisted of Ryan Shirar (MD/Arranger/Pianist), Ben Lively (Violin), Sarah Hewitt-Roth (cello), Kate Spingarn (Cello), Corey Shutzer (Bass), Clayton Craddock (Drums), & Andrew Koss (Guitar).
The evening kicked off with "Beautiful Day" followed immediately by celebrating with "New York".
