Maxine Linehan Releases LIVING PROOF (YOU'RE GONNA HEAR US NOW) In Support of Everytown for Gun Safety

Internationally acclaimed concert and recording artist Maxine Linehan has released her first original single, "Living Proof (You're Gonna Hear Us Now)." Inspired by the brave students in Parkland, Florida and the youth movement sweeping the nation including the March For Our Lives, and to financially support Everytown for Gun Safety, with proceeds being donated to the organization.

"Living Proof" was written by Linehan and Andrew Koss, and recorded at The Studio at Strawberry Fields Lane, a destination recording studio in Manchester, Vermont. Over 50 talented students, teachers and activists donated their time and talent to bring the song to life, including five time Grammy Award winning mix engineer, Kevin Killen. This is a song for and about the next generation who are standing up, speaking out and saying "enough."

"Andrew and I were overwhelmed by the desire to write a song for these inspirational young people," said Linehan. "They fill us with hope and they deserve our support. Music has always empowered me, and we hope in some small way this song is helpful to the movement."
