Photo Flash: Mairi Dorman-Phaneuf in 'More About the Melody: Celtic Night – Songs of Ireland and Scotland' at Birdland

The Broadway at Birdland concert series presented cellist Mairi Dorman-Phaneuf in her return to the stage with "More About the Melody: Celtic Night - Songs of Ireland and Scotland," on Monday, February 4.

With fellow Scot, Steve Gibb, on guitar and a traditional Celtic band, Mairi cohosted an evening that fell between Robert Burns Night and St. Patrick's Day, featuring Broadway's Scottish and Irish-born singers giving their interpretations of songs inspired by the ancient melodies. Kerstin Anderson, Maxine Linehan, Margaret Kelly, Tony LePage, Glenn Macnamara, and Ciarán Sheehan were special guest vocalists.
