Actors Touring Company will present the UK premiere of Amsterdam as part of our Spring season of work. Featuring a fresh cast, this will be the first tour under Artistic Director Matthew Xia, recently named in The Stage's Top 100 Most Influential People in Theatre. Amsterdam is written by award-winning playwright Maya Arud Yasur.

A fresh cast has been announced for ATC's 11-week UK-wide tour of Maya Arad Yasur's audacious play Amsterdam. It will be the first tour under Artistic Director Matthew Xia, recently named in The Stage's Top 100 Most influential People in Theatre.

On a sunny November morning, the Royal Opera House opened its doors for TheatreCraft 2019, the UK's largest free event for those aged 16-30 who want an offstage career in theatre. Following its top selling run at the Orange Tree Theatre this autumn, Maya Arad Yassur's strikingly original and audacious play Amsterdam will take to the road in early 2020. The three-way co-production, between Actors Touring Company, the Orange Tree Theatre and Theatre Royal Plymouth embarks on a tour that opens in Plymouth in February and stretches across the UK. Amsterdam is directed by Matthew Xia as his inaugural production as artistic director of ATC.
