Samuel Beckett's NOT I And Actors Touring Company's Amsterdam Come To HOME Manchester

A violinist. Living in her trendy canal-side Amsterdam apartment. Nine months pregnant. One day a mysterious unpaid gas bill from 1944 arrives. It awakens unsettling feelings of collective identity, foreignness and alienation. Stories of a devastating past are compellingly reconstructed to try and make sense of the present. 

AMSTERDAM Comes to Tron Theatre

Actors Touring Company will present the UK premiere of Amsterdam as part of our Spring season of work. Featuring a fresh cast, this will be the first tour under Artistic Director Matthew Xia, recently named in The Stage's Top 100 Most Influential People in Theatre. Amsterdam is written by award-winning playwright Maya Arud Yasur.

Actors Touring Company Announces National Tour Of AMSTERDAM

Following its top selling run at the Orange Tree Theatre this autumn, Maya Arad Yassur's strikingly original and audacious play Amsterdam will take to the road in early 2020. The three-way co-production, between Actors Touring Company, the Orange Tree Theatre and Theatre Royal Plymouth embarks on a tour that opens in Plymouth in February and stretches across the UK. Amsterdam is directed by Matthew Xia as his inaugural production as artistic director of ATC.

The website has been updated and developed to better facilitate the community and peer-support at the heart of the Young Vic Directors Program, the only scheme of its kind, which has been running for nearly twenty years.
