The producers of HAIRSPRAY have announced the full cast for the upcoming North American tour and we've got the scoop on the cast and the tour schedule. Helmed by Jack O’Brien and Jerry Mitchell. HAIRSPRAY will visit more than 60 cities in its first touring season and is expected to play for multiple seasons.

HAIRSPRAY, Broadway’s Tony Award-winning musical comedy phenomenon, will launch a new North American tour in Fall 2021. The new touring production, which will be helmed by Jack O’Brien and Jerry Mitchell, will visit the North Charleston Performing Arts Center December 11 & 12, 2021.

From the songwriting team behind the smash hit Tony Award-winning musical Dear Evan Hansen and the critically-acclaimed films La La Land and The Greatest Showman, A CHRISTMAS STORY: THE MUSICAL brings the classic 1983 movie to hilarious life on stage at DPAC December 28, 2021, through January 2, 2022, as part of Truist Broadway's new season.

Leading the cast as the extraordinary chocolate maker, Willy Wonka, is Cody Garcia, with Jackson Greenspan, William Goldsman, and Coleman Simmons alternating in the title role of Charlie Bucket.

Festival events will take place throughout the day and evenings that weekend and will feature staged readings, talkbacks, celebrity Q&A's, special VIP events, parties and more.  All ITW events will happen on the bucolic Forestburgh Playhouse campus in Sullivan County.

The Fabulous Fox Theatre has announced that Roald Dahl's CHARLIE AND THE CHOCOLATE FACTORY will play St. Louis at the Fabulous Fox Theatre March 8 – 10.

Forestburgh Playhouse presents the comedy, Buyer & Cellar by Jonathan Tolins, from August 17-22 on the Tavern Stage. Directed by Broadway veteran Matt Lenz, Buyer & Cellar stars Nick Cearley of The Skivvies as Alex More.

The cast will be led by Andrew Levitt aka Nina West (from “RuPaul's Drag Race”) as Edna Turnblad, Niki Metcalf as Tracy Turnblad and Toneisha Harris (from NBC's “The Voice”) as Motormouth Maybelle. Additional casting will be announced later.
