PBS honored America’s national night of remembrance with their annual Memorial Day Concert. The 35th-anniversary event was broadcast from the West Lawn of the U.S. Capitol. During the event, several Broadway luminaries took the stage to perform including Cynthia Erivo, Ruthie Ann Miles, Patina Miller, and more. Watch the full concert here!

The Alhambra Theatre & Dining will open its comedy, Boeing Boeing on May 23, 2004.  Set in the 1960’s, Boeing Boeing is a whirlwind of a farce revolving around American journalist Bernard Lawrence, who has his hands full in the romance department: he has three girlfriends, all stewardesses.

Tony Award-winner Cynthia Erivo, Tony Award-winner Ruthie Ann Miles, and more have been confirmed to perform in the upcoming concert. Segments in the special will be hosted by Bryan Cranston, BD Wong, and more.

Broadway’s Peter Pan Goes Wrong will welcome Emmy winner Bradley Whitford of “The West Wing” and “The Handmaid’s Tale” and Daniel Dae Kim, star of “Hawaii 5-0,” “Lost,” and “The Good Doctor” to the company as special guest stars at Center Theatre Group at the Ahmanson Theatre.

PBS' NATIONAL MEMORIAL DAY CONCERT, America's national night of remembrance, will return live from the West Lawn of the U.S. Capitol hosted by Tony Award-winner Joe Mantegna and Emmy Award-winner Gary Sinise, acclaimed actors who are dedicated to veterans' causes and supporting our troops in active service.

'Heels' is a story about the men and women who chase their dreams in the world of small-town pro wrestling. Set in a close-knit Georgia community, it follows a family-owned wrestling promotion as two brothers and rivals, Jack Spade (Amell) and Ace Spade (Ludwig), are at war over their late father’s legacy.

Tony Award-winner Lea Salonga, Emmy, Grammy, Tony, and SAG Award-nominated actor Norm Lewis, and  Tony Award-winning Broadway star Brian Stokes Mitchell have been confirmed to perform in the upcoming concert. Segments in the special will be hosted by Mary McCormack, Jean Smart, and more

Capital Concerts announced today a special presentation of the NATIONAL MEMORIAL DAY CONCERT on PBS, hosted by Tony Award-winner Joe Mantegna and Emmy Award-winning actor and humanitarian Gary Sinise with all-star performances and tributes from Washington, D.C. and around the country honoring all of our American heroes.

The anniversary episode broke the single-show fundraising record, raising over $28,300 (including a $10,000 matching grant from the Frances Lear Foundation).  Now, after over 375 episodes, “Stars In The House” has raised over $751,842 for The Actors Fund & $200,000 for other charity organizations who have needed support throughout the pandemic.

On March 16, 2020, Seth Rudetsky and James Wesley launched “Stars In The House” in response to what they knew would be an immediate need for funds in light of the Broadway shutdown.  Now, one year and over 375 episodes later, “Stars In The House” has raised over $715,000 for The Actors Fund & an additional $200,000 for other charity organizations.
