The Alliance Theatre commits extensive resources annually to supporting and developing new work and new artists through two nationally recognized programs - the Alliance/Kendeda National Graduate Playwriting Competition and the Reiser Atlanta Artists Lab. The Alliance today announced the winner and finalists of the 15th Alliance/Kendeda Competition as well as the three projects chosen for development in the 4th annual Reiser Lab.
SIX DEGREES OF SEPARATION to Open 1/11 at Actor's Express

Actor's Express has announced Six Degrees of Separation, by John Guare, directed by Freddie Ashley. The production opens on Saturday night, January 11, 2013, 8pm curtain, preview performances are January 9 and 10, and the ever-popular pay-what-you-want sneak peek, "Director's Rough Cut", is Wednesday, January 8. The outstanding cast is led by Mary Lynn Owen and Doyle Reynolds as the affluent couple, and Jason-Jaml Ligon as Paul, the con artist. Complete cast list below. Three-show passes are available for the remainder of the company's season (and they make GREAT gifts!). Single tickets for Six Degrees are on sale now at the box office (404-607-7469) or online at www.actors-express.com.
