TheatreWorks New Milford welcomes one of  N.Y. and L.A.'s top stage directors, David Galligan, direct their summer production of Pippin.

Kamp Koral, the upcoming spinoff series from SpongeBob Squarepants, will now debut on CBS All Access in 2021.

Nickelodeon is bringing the original SpongeBob SquarePants voice cast to Kamp Koral: SpongeBob's Under Years, the brand-new animated spinoff of the beloved hit series. Premiering this July, the CG-animated prequel (13 episodes) follows 10-year-old SpongeBob during his summer at sleepaway camp and stars Tom Kenny (SpongeBob SquarePants), Bill Fagerbakke (Patrick Star), Rodger Bumpass (Squidward), Clancy Brown (Mr. Krabs), Carolyn Lawrence (Sandy Cheeks) and Mr. Lawrence (Plankton), all of whom are reprising their iconic roles in this new series.

 A Musical Theatre Podcast, with host Jeffrey Scott Parsons, is now available for free across all podcast streaming services including Apple Podcasts, Spotify, Google Podcasts, Stitcher, and more. New episodes are released every Sunday evening.

Fans of the unforgettable Debbie Reynolds and members of the Thalians, an organization she helped found, flocked to the El Portal Friday June 30 for a dedication of the mainstage and grand party to celebrate her life and career. It was an SRO event, with celebrity guests, whose proceeds benefited the great charity work of the Thalians - 'Hollywood for Mental Health', to which Reynolds devoted tirelessly of herself since its inception in 1955. Debbie had history with the El Portal. It was one of her favorite venues, as she used to ride her bicycle there to go to the movies as a young girl living in Burbank...and she performed there with her fabulous night blub act and the play Love Letters 46 times between 2003 and 2015 So, it is totally apropo to name the mainstage in honor of this great star and humanitarian.

Hello, Dolly! is one of the most famous Broadway star vehicles, and no production has yet made that clearer than the one with Bette Midler's name floating high atop the marquee (and the 'sold out' sign). But what about the supporting ladies that fill the stage alongside the whirlwind Dolly Levi?

The dog days of summer arrive early this year, as Rubicon Theatre Company presents a spring production of A.R. Gurney's howlingly funny canine comedy SYLVIA, a love story about empty nesters Greg and Kate, and an irrepressible mutt named Sylvia. Written by Drama Desk, Obie and Lortel Award-winning playwright A.R. Gurney (also known for Love Letters and The Dining Room), the plot follows what happens after a man going through a midlife crisis finds a dog in Central Park and brings her home without consulting his wife.

The third annual CABARET IS ALIVE AND WELL AND LIVING IN LOS ANGELES, Benefit Concert series for The Actors Fund conceived by David Galligan and presented by Fraser Entertainment Group, takes place Oct. 14th-16th with two nights at Tom Rolla's Gardenia, plus Sunday evening at the Catalina Jazz Club.

The Southland Theatre Artists Goodwill Event (S.T.A.G.E.) Benefit titled Sondheim 5, took place June 18th at Beverly Hills' beautiful Wallis Annenberg Center for the Performing Arts in benefit of AIDS Project Los Angeles.  The much anticipated event, was once again directed by David Galligan.  Michael Orland served as Musical Director, with Choreography by Lee Martino; and BroadwayWorld TV's own Michael Sterling was on hand to talk to the stars just prior to their first of two performances.
