On Sunday, February 3, 2013 at the North Hollywood Church of Religious Science some of Hollywood and Broadway's finest gathered to honor and remember Paul Ainsley, who passed away on January 20, 2013. The afternoon was not a memorial as much as it was a celebration - a roast - a closing night party. It was an event that would have had partying right next to all his friends. Coyote StageWorks launched its fourth season on November 23 with the Tony-nominated comedy "Souvenir" and follows up with a starry reading of THE WOMEN on January 19.

'They have over 357 years of successful theatre between them,' said director and moderator John Bowab of Patricia Morison, Anne Jeffreys, Pat Marshall, Jane Kean and Charlotte Rae, during the recent 'Musical Mondays' production held in the historic lobby of Los Angeles' Pantages Theatre and benefitting The Actors' Fund. For the second season in a row, all productions will be staged at the Annenberg Theatre which is located at The Palm Springs Museum Of Art in downtown Palm Springs. With a career encompassing Broadway, TV and film, veteran comic actress Jane Kean is best known for playing Trixie Norton in the hour-long color, musical version of the Honeymooners series (1966-70). Kean presented her one-woman show onstage at the Colony Saturday September 8.

The 28th Annual STAGE Benefit was held last weekend at the Saban Theatre Beverly Hills to benefit AIDS Project Los Angeles. Entitled 'Original Cast 3,' it featured performers doing songs from shows with which they are associated. The event raised more than $200,000 for APLA's work with clients living with HIV and AIDS in Los Angeles County.
