Classic Stage Company has announced its full programming for Classic Perspectives, a series of post-show conversations inspired by A Man of No Importance by Terrence McNally, Stephen Flaherty, and Lynn Ahrens.

Bill Hanney, Harold Blank, and William Dougherty hosted film/tv/theatre veterans Gregory Harrison and Mary Beth Peil at the premiere of their new film, 'Jimmy and Carolyn', written and directed by James Andrew Walsh, at their newly renovated All South County Luxury Cinemas on August 29th. Shereen Ahmed (My Fair Lady) will complete the company for Classic Stage Company's revival of A Man of No Importance, playing Adele Rice. A Man of No Importance will begin performances on Tuesday, October 11, with opening night set for Sunday, October 30 for a limited run through Sunday, December 4.

There are a few technical glitches that presented themselves to a keen eye, but virtually something for everyone to like.  Overall, BSC’s production of ALITTLE NIGHT MUSIC represents another triumph for both Barrington Stage and the woman who has steered the company’s successful course for the past 27 years.

Two-time Emmy winner and Tony nominee Mare Winningham and William Youmans will be joining the cast of Classic Stage Company's A Man of No Importance as Lily Byrne as Baldy O’Shea. A Man of No Importance will begin performances on Tuesday, October 11, with opening night set for Sunday, October 30 for a limited run through Sunday, December 4.

Tony Award-nominated (The King and I; Anastasia) and Obie Award-winning actor/soprano Mary Beth Peil and actor Peter Von Berg (American Globe Theatre: Romeo and Juliet; Othello; American Shakespeare Theatre in Stratford, Kennedy Center: Richard III) will be gracing the Guild Hall Zoom with Carol Rocamora's short play based on the 412 love letters of Russian playwright Anton Chekhov and his famous actress wife, Olga Knipper.

Andrew Polec, 32, actor/singer/musician/composer from Doylestown, PA, is honored to have been named the first prize winner in The Kurt Weill Foundation for Music 's 23rd Annual Lotte Lenya Competition, which took place in New York City on August 28, 2021.
