Netflix announced today that Grace and Frankie has been renewed for a seventh and final season. With this final 16-episode order, Grace and Frankie, produced by Skydance Television, will make history as the longest-running Netflix original series ever, out of both comedy and drama, with 94 episodes.

PICT Classic Theatre's 2019-2020 season will consist of 3 productions beginning in November: a ghost story play written by Stephen Mallatratt, an adaptation of a Shakespeare classic, and an Irish play by Hugh Leonard. All three will be presented at WQED's Fred Rogers Studio in Oakland.

To celebrate the 30th Anniversary of the Broadway debut of 'Love Letters', a Play by A.R. Gurney, Theatre at the Center (TATC) will showcase one exclusive performance on Sunday afternoon, February 3, at 2:30 p.m. This production, under the guidance of artistic advisor Linda Fortunato, will star Phil Potempa, a noted newspaper columnist for the Post Tribune and Crista Zivanovic, features editor of The Times of Northwest Indiana. The performance proceeds will benefit Theatre at the Center in Munster.

A HOME FOR THE HOLIDAYS – THE 20TH ANNIVERSARY will be broadcast Friday, Dec. 21 (8:00-9:00 PM, ET/PT) on the CBS Television Network. The New American Theatre (NAT) will present the Los Angeles premiere of Greg Kalleres' (Honky) comedy Meanwhile, Back at the Super Lair... at the award-winning company's new Hollywood venue. New American Theatre's artistic director Jack Stehlin directs. The production will open Saturday, May 26 and runs through Saturday, June 23. ' Super Lair' will be presented independently and then will be offered as a Hollywood Fringe Festival show.
