Martin Sheen Will Star in TV Adaptation of FREE VERMONT

Aaron Sorkin Will Reunite With THE WEST WING Cast for Staged Episode to Benefit When We All Vote

Ahead of one of the most pivotal elections in our nation's history, HBO Max and The West Wing creator Aaron Sorkin announced today that for the first time in 17 years, the original cast of the Emmy®- and Peabody Award-winning hit Warner Bros. Television drama series will come together with Sorkin and executive producer/director Thomas Schlamme for A West Wing Special to Benefit When We All Vote, which will debut on the streaming service this fall.

Emilio Estevez to Reprise His Role in THE MIGHTY DUCKS Disney+ Series

Emilio Estevez is reprising his iconic role as beloved Coach Gordon Bombay in the new Disney+ original series “The Mighty Ducks.” Based on the '90s hit franchise, the 10-episode series will premiere later this year on the streaming service.  In addition to starring, Estevez will serve as an executive producer.

The Ark Theatre's Playwright-in-Residence, Stephen Fife, Will Debut Two Plays in 2019/2020 Season

The Ark Theatre has announced that playwright-in-residence Stephen Fife will debut numerous works in its 2019/2020 season that include the world premiere of 'In The Mood' and a workshop production of 'Isabella in Oz.' The romantic comedy 'In The Mood' will begin steamy previews Friday November 8, open November 16 and continue through December 14, while family-friendly 'Isabella in Oz' opens December 9 with afternoon and evening performances. The Ark Theatre is located at 5708 Lankershim Boulevard, North Hollywood, 91601. Tickets are $20, other than previews. Limited seating. Ample street parking. Shout! Factory TV, the digital entertainment streaming service, is set to launch its first original digital docuseries CULT-TASTIC: TALES FROM THE TRENCHES WITH ROGER AND JULIE CORMAN. Created, written and co-produced by Ashley Sidaway and Robert Sidaway, the 13-part series about the life and work of Roger and Julie Corman, provides viewers an extraordinary look inside the Cormans' cinematic universe and features extensive in-depth interviews. Alec Baldwin, Marlo Thomas & More Will Appear at The Lee Strasberg Theatre & Film Institute's 50th Anniversary Gala

The Lee Strasberg Theatre & Film Institute® (Anna Strasberg, Artistic Director) will host its 50th Anniversary Celebration, “THE NEXT 50 YEARS,” on Monday, November 4, 2019 in the Rosenthal Pavilion overlooking Washington Square Park at New York University (60 Washington Square South). The celebration is a gala benefit for The Lee Strasberg Creative Center®, which has provided scholarships to students for 42 years. The evening will be hosted by Honorary Co-Chairs Alec Baldwin and Marlo Thomas, with Mr. Baldwin making a special award presentation to renowned teacher Geoffrey Horne. The program will also feature appearances by Ellen Burstyn, and Renée Taylor.
