The Producers Guild of America (PGA) announced today the Motion Pictures and Television nominees for the 31st Annual Producers Guild Awards. Winners in these categories will be announced at the PGA awards ceremony on January 18 at the Hollywood Palladium.

Chicago, Roberta Flack, & More to Receive 2020 Special Merit Awards from the Recording Academy

The Recording Academy® is honored to announce its 2020 Special Merit Awards recipients. The Lifetime Achievement Award honorees are Chicago, Roberta Flack, Isaac Hayes, Iggy Pop, John Prine, Public Enemy and Sister Rosetta Tharpe. Ken Ehrlich, Philip Glass and Frank Walker are Trustees Award honorees; and George Augspurger is the Technical GRAMMY® Award recipient. A special award presentation ceremony and concert celebrating the honorees will be held on April 18, 2020, at the Pasadena Civic Auditorium. Additional details regarding the ceremony will be announced shortly.

The Wolf of Wall Street immersive production's days are numbered as FBI officers swooped in on the Belfort premises on Sun Street in an immersive sting operation. The Cinema Audio Society announced today the talented multi-hyphenate actress/comedian/writer/playwright and distiller Kirsten Vangsness has been tapped to serve as host of the upcoming 56th CAS Awards. 

Giant Pictures Acquires CABARET MAXIME, Starring Michael Imperioli

Giant Pictures has acquired the US rights for Bruno de Almeida's new movie, Cabaret Maxime, starring Michael Imperioli. It will open theatrically at the Metrograph in NYC on February 21st, ahead of a national, multi-platform rollout on March 3rd.

Harvey Keitel Tells CBS SUNDAY MORNING He's Never Been Considered Bankable'

Actor Harvey Keitel has built a long career out of making small movie roles memorable. He's also earned an Oscar nomination along the way. Chuck Lorre, award winning television producer, writer and director whose television shows have consistently reflected the highest quality of production design, will receive the esteemed Cinematic Imagery Award from the Art Directors Guild (ADG, IATSE, Local 800) at the 24th Annual Art Directors Guild's Excellence in Production Design Awards. The 2020 ADG Awards will be held Saturday, February 1, 2020 at the InterContinental Los Angeles Downtown and will honor the prestigious spectrum of Chuck's extraordinary award-winning work over the past 20 years.
