Book, Music & Lyrics by Sarah Fiete, PYM, a modern, female-driven musical adaptation of Edgar Allan Poe's 'The Narrative of Arthur Gordon Pym of Nantucket' receives an invitation-only reading on April 16, at 7PM, in Hudson Theatre's Dress Circle Lobby.

Universal Theatrical Group, Working Title Films, Greene Light Stage, Michael Coppel Entertainment and Louise Withers Presents are delighted to announce that Billy Elliot the Musical will return to Australia in 2019 for its 10th Anniversary Tour. The hugely successful West End musical premiered in Australia in 2007 as the first international production outside of the UK, prior to its Broadway premiere. With the first Australian tour concluding in Melbourne in 2009, this new 10th Anniversary tour kicks off in 2019, ten years after the curtain came down in Australia.

The global smash hit musical MAMMA MIA! is celebrating the show's 19th birthday in London today, Friday 6 April, by opening a new booking period from Monday 22 October 2018 to Saturday 2 March 2019. The cast celebrated with a birthday cake on stage at London's Novello Theatre.

Cape Rep Theatre is celebrating its 33rd season with an exciting line up of plays and musicals, all of them Cape Cod premieres, and one world premiere by a local playwright. The Indoor Theater season will open May 9th with the George Furth and Stephen Sondheim musical Merrily We Roll Along, followed by the world premiere production of The Tuna Goddess, by local theater artist, Jade Schuyler. Next up is the Broadway sensation, Mamma Mia!, music by the beloved super group ABBA and book by Catherine Johnson, followed by the 5-time Tony Award winning Fun Home, book and lyrics by Lisa Kron, music by Jeanine Tesori, based on the graphic novel by Alison Bechdel. The season will close with the Cape Cod premiere of Shakespeare in Love, based on the screenplay by Marc Norman and Tom Stoppard, adapted for the stage by Lee Hall.

Mamma Mia brought the audience to their feet at the opening night performance on Friday at the Union County Performing Arts Center (UCPAC). Produced by Dream Theatre Productions, the lavish performance of the hit Broadway musical is one of the best you will see with its stunningly talented cast. 

Back Table Ink has announced its production of "The Great Cat Massacre", premiering in the 12th Annual FRIGID Festival, produced by Horse Trade Theater Group. "The Great Cat Massacre" is a new musical written by Greg Moss & Casey O'Neil. Currently in rehearsals, this show will run on select dates from February 17th until March 4th at the Kraine Theater.

Benny Andersson and Bjorn Ulvaeus' smash-hit musical MAMMA MIA! returns to Starlight Theatre for one weekend only - Friday, June 23 through Sunday, June 25.

After 15 years on the road, the national touring production of MAMMIA MIA! will play its final performances at the Fabulous Fox in St Louis July 28 - 30.

Benny Andersson and Bjorn Ulvaeus' MAMMA MIA!, the smash hit musical based on the songs of ABBA, plays the Thrasher-Horne Center on June 20th, 2017 as a part of its final farewell tour. This performance will be the hugely successful musical's last Florida date, as well as the tenth to last engagement before the casts takes its final bows. Lauderdale presents the Farewell Tour of the smash hit musical Mamma Mia! at the Broward Center for the Performing Arts. 20 year old Sophie is planning to marry, and wants her father to be present to give her away. Unfortunately, she does not know who her father is. After reading her mother's diary, she concludes he is one of three men, so she invites all of them to her wedding, on the Greek Island on which she lives with her still single mother, in the hopes of sorting it out.

This season, Manhattan Theatre Club stunned and excited theatregoers when it was announced that Laura Linney and Cynthia Nixon, two of the most formidable females of stage and screen, would be returning to the boards in an unconventional new revival of Lillian Hellman's family drama, The Little Foxes.
